The White Sword of the Sky cannot be bought from the Bargainer Statues, but you can take a set of Dragon Claws back to the Forgotten Temple Goddess Statue and she'll craft you another. I'm not sure if you can craft more than one at a time though.
@@AustinJohnPlays Austin if you have a video about all of the similarities between the surface and depths id appreciate it. I just found out on my own the shrines reflect Light roots. But now that I'm finishing up the story I'm ready for some help. I didn't know the rivers block off the cliffs down there I have spent so much time trapt and couldn't navigate around cliffs in the underworld
Fun fact about the Great Eagle Bow. Back in BotW when you got the bow, since it was Revali’s, it came with the cloth he used to check the wind but in TotK only Tulin’s bow has the cloth since his is the original Great Eagle bow.
It pisses me off that we get the champion weapons as a gift in botw for saving their respective tribe but they get it back somehow? Like sorry but I hung my friends weapons in my house ? Why tf do you have it ?
@@cernunnos8344 I'm okay with that. But the fact that it's now 3 diamonds instead of 1 to repair makes me not even want the champions weapons. Like wtf did they have to make inflation a thing in this game?!
@@BZB33 be a miner 👺 i have almost 70 diamonds from a day of farming just constantly run around death mountain mining all the ore deposits and then goto the depths and hunt all the rare talus down there
Quick tip about the Stal enemies, just use a dazzlefruit, they die instantly except for the Stalnox, it just gets stunned. No need to waste arrows this way.
@@tgatt5759 Even better, if you attach dazzlefruit or puff shrooms or any plant/ mushroom really to a forest dweller weapon you can use it until the weapon breaks. So 1 dazzlefruit can last you forever 🤓
@@DarkFlarePrinceForest Dweller Sword or Spear. I prefer the spear because it's faster and can hit from further away. But they both have the same effect with I'd you read the weapon description it will explain better than me 🤓 Edit: If you're struggling to find them, go to the top of the Deku tree in the Korok Forest.
Note: I mention the statue of the Eighth Heroine Room for weapons. This room may havew special coding that does not allow it to re-stock based on random respawn intervals OR blood moons. Looking into this...
I think what happens is the only weapons that don't respawn are the ones you haven't broken yet. I had my gerudo claymore fused in my inventory, my sheild in my house. I broke the rest of the weapons or left em there. The ones I had on me never respawned. But the ones I broke did respawn
I’ve been there a few times and there were no weapons there- I mistakenly didn’t take all of them initially figuring they would stay for my return- I was sadly wrong
I was about to look up a video just like this to find the Biggoron sword and went into a chasm that looked interesting just to find a chest with it inside 😂
Yup, I went there too, by mistake. I got a quest to look for the Fierce Deity armor set, and it said go to the skull’s left eye. I went down his left from my perspective, not his, and found that sword. I was so confused and just thought maybe I’d get the Fierce Deity set after I return the sword.
I am glad I was able to find almost all of them by simply exploring, the only one I couldn't find was the dusk bow. Great job with the videos for all the armor pieces, paraglider cloth and legendary weapons and shields. I will not get all the koroks or kill all 100s of repeat bosses to get those medals but I will get all the bubbulgems and collect all the unique accessories and then finally end my epic totk adventure.
@@joeyst.laurent1987 I don’t really think it would be worth killing the same enemies hundreds of times just for a few medals that don’t really serve a purpose
@@someguyusingtheinternet641 all the shrines and lightroots and every single quest are already done. Why do you think I am hunting every last bubbulgem and well and I am yet to complete the meat of the experience which is the shrines and quests?
note: With Sidon's water ability, different types of weapons have different swaths and ranges. If you're having trouble getting Sidon's water to go far enough, try using a spear. Spears have thin, but longer-ranged water attacks where swords and blunt weapons have wider swing area but much shorter range. I didn't have much trouble with mucktorok the first time because I happened to be using a spear at the time and didn't think anything of it, but then I tried to rematch it in the depths and got super annoyed using a sword and a 2-hander until I switched to a spear and noticed the difference.
im so glad that we can have multiple weapon stand rooms, cause for me being able to display every single legendary weapon in the house feels so satisying since they're like trophies
Honestly its remarkable how much effort you had to put into not only obraining the weapons, stats, and history, but you also made sure we had a reliable way to obtain the weapons (and shield) for the champion weapons. Liked and subbed man thank you
As a non native English speaker (I’m still learning the language) I must say your videos are amazing! Clear and understandable speech. High quality videos in all aspects. Thanks for helping me practicing listening 😂
Fun fact, another ruin near I think the hylian fields (that could be wrong) says that the Dusk Sword was once held there, and was moved to where it is now! Fun that the developers left in ways to find the locations of these weapons early on.
Thank you for finding respawns for the weapons needed to make the champions weapons. When I found out you could make their weapons, I wanted to make Miphas spear but had already broken the spear you get from saving the guard (which is what every guide I looked up told me to use.) It took me forever to find another one so I ended up putting the spear in my house and not using it because I didn't want it to break. Now I can actually use it without being afraid of it breaking and it being a pain to replace.
You can simply fuse hammer-like objects to the Fierce Deity Sword, it increases Durrability and Damage - especially on all Talus-Types and also allows you to have the Helix Blade still
Really feel like they should have added a lot of unique perks to these weapons to make them "Legendary". They're all just museum relics. It would be cool if fierce deity had double sword beam damage or if the Dusk claymore was effective against gloom. Have them be at least somewhat better utility wise than most weapons.
1:22 geez, I spent like a whole day just grinding diamonds so I can replace these weapons lmao. you actually saved me so much time and diamonds, thank you man
@IDDBOY If you catch the weapon before it completely breaks, you can restore it to new by letting a rock octorock swallow it (with no added enhancements) and then use rewind to catch it when Rocky spits it back to you. If you’ve attached something to the weapon, 1st take it to TerryTown and have it separated by Pelison for a minor fee 😂 Only one weapon or bow (works on all bows too) per octorock per bloodmoon...😅
Funny story about the dusk bow for me: Went to Hyrule Castle when starting to get some equipment, and also stumbled upon it when getting those two Koroks. Now, when I remember to, I go get one!
I dunno if it was something that only happened in earlier versions of the game, but the weapons in the Gerudo Sanctuary with the Secret Statue of the Eighth loot room don't seem to respawn anymore. I rushed that sidequest really early strictly because I wanted the reliable source of weapons. Riju of the Gerudo was the second of the four region quests I cleared, because it's Riju, and then I immediately did that sidequest to get the loot room, and left a Medallion in there. The room has never once repopulated for me no matter how many dozens of blood moons have happened since. I've beaten all the story content up until the final Destroy Ganon mission after getting the fifth sage and have done tons of other sidequests and shrines and they've never come back for me even once.
Yeah I’m in the exact same position as you-only Ganondorf left to beat in the main story-and I don’t get the Gerudo weapons or precious ores reappearing in the Statue of the Eighth Heroine room 😭
I mean to be honest I would rather waste some durability than wasting some diamonds. While in Breath Of The Wild, diamonds were quite rare, in Tears of The Kingdom they're extremely rare.
You don’t need to fight anything for the hylian shield. There’s one right inside the main entrance, right next to a royal guard broadsword and claymore.
One thing I would like to add is that Scimitar of the Seven is unique in that it appears to get the double fuse damage as well as getting the complete durability increase.
The Sidon water puzzle in Thyplo ruins is pretty wonky, mine worked differently. The charge attack in the middle was my first attempt then I tried other stuff over and over. Until one day I just stood away from the dragons and just shot the water slash right to the middle of the 6 dragons and it worked, despite not working a few days ago, IDK. Also I hope you can make a video about the "most durable" or "strongest base weapon" vid There's probably some in YT but it's much better when it's coming from you 😆
This doesn’t really have anything to do with the video, but when you played the Kass versions of the Champions’ themes I got a little chocked up. Every time I hear one of Kass’ covers of the Champions’ themes it just reminds me of how tragic their tales were. Anyway, great video. Already have the weapons but it was still fun to watch anyway.
i've been able to destroy super srong mini bosses with relative ease by using the lightscale trident and fusing a silver maned lynel saber horn to it and using sidon consistentley so that i have 157 damage regularly during the fight
Yo Austin, I've noticed that a fair amount of people don't have special control #5. Seeing as it's not very clear where to find it, you could probably do a super quick video about it. Info: Jump Slash Read the journal at the Monster Control Crew Camp either to the West-North-West of Jiosin Shrine, South of Lookout Landing, or to the North of Dueling Peaks Stable, depending on your side adventure progression. If neither location has a camp, wait for a blood moon and then try them. Coordinates: -0332, -0334, 0026 and 1775, -1618, 0020
There's a Zora spear closer to Zora's Domain. Just go across the bridge to the west, towards Upland Zorana Foothill Cave. You will find a bunch of enemies there, with one of them wielding a Zora spear. It means you don't need to go nearly as far in order to get the Lightscale spear.
I do the same with my White Sword of the Sky. I only took it off the wall to take it back to the temples, after I got the full Sky set (which your tutorial helped for, I was missing some parts), I wanted to do the compendium picture there
I just recently finished my legendary weapon collection with the Sea-Breeze Shield, and have them all (except for the Champions' weapons, which remain in my inventory) displayed in my house. I even went through the trouble of completely remodeling my house so I could display them all! I turned the entire first floor of my house into an armory (plus a gallery to display a fun picture if I wanted).
This is the 2nd maybe 3rd time time I've the hylian shield called a legendary item and it baffles me a bit. It's Link's iconic shield and while it may only be in a handful of games it's in more then the other items are
16:01 - Austin John… you are my hero of time.. or more specifically.. the hero of “my” time.. I was irritated when guides kept telling me where I can find a chest, just to realize I already opened it 😅 literally got annoyed last night about it, your video is so appreciated.. like link is appreciated by hyrule… that is.. until the next game…
Austin, thank you for making all of these videos. I played so much Breath of the Wild that I burned out completely. When I got Tears of the Kingdom, it felt like the same game with a lot of DLC. I am only just now coming back to it, and I am having so much fun roaming Hyrule again 😊
I already found almost all of these just from exploring, but it was extremely helpful hearing your insights about what's worth using and not worth using! Speaking of which I'd love for you to make a best weapons guide at some point, maybe the best 3 or so for each category? (one/two handed, spear, shield, bow)
Need a video on tips for collecting koroks, I'm 400 in and some tips when I first started would have been great! Maybe go over common puzzles and mapping methods
You'd think for being champion weapons theyd at least be able to be recharged so you could cycle between them when they break and need recharging instead of having to go buy a fresh one using the poe statue. Couldve kept them un-fuse-able to balance them out. Gets tiring seeing legendary stuff "break".
I have a question regarding the Boulder Breaker: Is it possible to "stack" the damage output against Ore-based enemies like Stone Talus if you fuse the Boulder Breaker with something like a Stone Talus heart? Or do these rock based items only "add" effective damage to weapons that don't have the "Demolisher" ability like goron weapons?
@@AustinJohnPlaysdoes that mean silver lynel saber horn is always the best fuse option? I had thought the mace horn was better for armor/rocks even though it had lower damage output.
Honestly, this was super helpful. I just got the Fierce Deity Sword and I have the Dusk Bow. But to know the locations of other weapons is super great. Thank you!
REMINDER. thr gerudo scimitar can also be found at the Kara Kara Bazar. You can also repeatedly kill lik lik-s in caves of those areas (eldin, gerudo desert, lanayru, and hebra) to potentially get the weapons for the champion weapons aswell.
Another location you can go to with a respawnable (at least I think it is) Cobble Crusher is in the Depths within the Abandoned Goron Mine. There will be one within the structure next to the "Zonai Survey Corp Researcher" that's found there
Thank you, Austin for a great video! My Dusk Bow is not respawing at each Blood Moon. Do you know if my current Dusk Bow needs to break in order for a new one to spawn in the next Blood Moon?
there actually is a glitch to duplicate the hylian shield. put it on any weapon u want, and connect the hylian shield with the synthesizing ability. Save the checkpoint, then throw the weapon off, and go to the menu as fast as u can. load the checkpoint and now u should still have the weapon with the hylian shield in your inventory. then walk where u threw the weapon and there should lay a second glitched one. this might take some tries but it will work pretty consistantly. then go to tarrey town, and separate shield and weapon.
I wish all of the weapons in this video could be gotten like the Dusk Bow, as a free Amiibo weapon every blood moon without using Amiibo is really nice.
Fun fact : if you go at the peak of the mountain in great plateau, where in BOTW you used to get a warm clothing there given by the "old man", there will be a grave with a royal claymore on it. I'm glad that the devs didn't forget about him.
The reason its a Royal Claymore is, because in Age of Calamity, he would use the Royal Claymore, so its likely Zelda visited her father's grave and left his favorite weapon there to honour him.
Fun fact : if your dusk bow breaks wait till a blood moon and go back to the place you find it and you will get your dusk bow again you can do this many time I've tried it before so yeah Very cool
Thank you so much for this video! For some reason I have run out of bows, and I am desperate to just figure out how to find them. Your video is really helped me. Thank you so much!
@17:40 The Great Eagle Bow does also have faster Draw Speed than the Lynel Bow. If you don't mind doing glitches, you can transfer the 5X shot of a Lyne bow to the Great Eagle Bow (and it's not buggy like most other bows). Meaning the Great Eagle Bow has more range and shoots faster, while only doing 4 less damage per shot. I'd say its the best bow in the game. @23:20 The "strong fusion" on the Scimitar of the Seven currently (1.1.2) adds FULL durability to the weapon when fusing an item, meaning it has a whooping 85 (60+25) durability. It's arguably the best weapon in the game, and relatively simple to repair.
Well it's not really that "simple" to repair, since it quite make you waste some time and 40 rupees each time, even though it's better that than having to get the scimitar again and the diamonds.
Hey I've been watching ur videos and they are super helpful was wondering if u can help with the old maps I have 29 and I can find two and every thing I look up and there's no info
Great, concise breakdown of where all the unique items are. Liked and subbed.

One thing that keeps bothering me is why there isn't a 3rd "Special Bow". Maybe keeping the Bow of Light as a special single use weapon which could deal a lot of damage and a massive range with the advantage of not exploding the enemy like Ancient Blades, so items could still be obtained.
Scimitar of the 7 doubles whatever you fuse on it making it the most powerful in game. Silver Lyonell Horn is 55 x 2 =110 attack. Add that to the 28 on the Scimitar and you get 138. If you wear Fierce Deity set you get 1.5 x 138 = 207. That is before addional food buffs.
The scimitar of the seven is nothing compared to a pristine royal sword fused to a silver lynel horn. With the pristine royal sword (24) without any damage buff and the silver lynel horn (55) it does a base attack of 79, but that's not all, since it's a royal weapon it does the double of the damages when flurry rushing, which does 158 damage with one hit from a flurry rush without any food, armor or weapon buff. I recommand using it especially for lynels with their extremely easy to flurry rush attacks.
You can use the ammibo outfit to get the firce deity outfit and it will open the wall for the sword, however, it wont count as completing the quest, which was kinda funny.
It is very odd to me that there are no inventory chests to use for storing and collecting all weapons in the game. All we have are Links max weapon slots and only 9 sword slots available to be used as storage displays at Links House. I don't understand why Nintendo came up with this inventory restriction. The only reason I can think of is that if you were to drop 200+ wepaons on the ground, the performance I would assume would take a huge hit, and unable process all of that at once. Although, the devs could have a set limit to how many items you can remove at once, and if you keep dropping weapons, they will automatically transfer back into the inventory chest. I'm talking about a chest to store items at Links house only. What do you guys think?
Was wondering how to repair Legendary Weapons, because my Boulder Breaker is badly damaged and I wanted to repair it at a Rock Octorock, only to learn that I can't do that. Good to know now! Thanks as always!!
Dear Austin, there is a duplication glitch where you can have multiple legendary weapons. I did it with the Gerudo Scimitar, no problem. Basically you must do a hard save, then throw your weapon and at the moment the sword leaves Link's hand, you pause and load the hard save. If you do it correctly, you will have the sword in your hand and the one you "throw" will be on the floor.
