If you want tips for high rankings, try to go for challenge milestones 3 perfect blocks 3 super attacks 3 ultimate attacks 3 grabs 3 evasives Be transformed 30 hit combo These all will fill in the points you need to get Z ranks if you don’t get no damage runs and stuff

If you want an easy Z rank just stamina’s break them and grab them 3 times, and finish with an ultimate. You should usually get a Z rank.

Small correction: You don't need protect Yamcha, his HP will go to 1 but he will take no more damage, he can't die like Gamma 1 in "Defeat Bulma Minions" PQ Also, there's a tip, don't spam with beast special beam cannon, most of time you will miss anyways because of ai, and you will need to to have full HP anyways for criterias so beast special beam cannon will do 3/4 of one bar at max without boosted stats

Most of these new Quests involve multiple enemies so using Blue Evolved Vegeta is the best way IMO to clear these missions along with the win conditions to get items faster because of Vegeta’s Final Explosion, people often forget his utility. Happy hunting!

I got Apocalyptic Burst first try by myself using Giant Namekian w “GAHH” z soul for stamina recovery. Paired w super guard and fighting pose K to ensure I wouldn’t take damage and burst charge to never be short of Ki.

Can confirm getting z rank on the third mission isnt a guaranteed apocolyptic burst, first 2 tries on the pq and i got z rank on both, no skill Edit: yamcha cant die during the third pq, he'll stay at like 1 hp until he transforms

Thanks Steeds, you actually saved me a lot of time in the one mission that requires you to have a perfect run. I found my formula of Earth Splitting GG + You and this planet are as good as space dust SS with Super Vegeta awoken obliterates life bars with little to no effort as long as you have the momentum. Have yet to try any other awoken with it yet but hopefully I'll get a faster time.

wait does the special beam cannon kick stun the opponent? if it does that would be some db legends or tenkaichi shit right there

Yes it stuns them. They cannot move or use an evasive. It counts as a cinematic animation. It does less damage if you do the kick instead of only charging the cannon. But only the kick makes them completely still unable to move

4:21 Its isn't a guaranteed drop with a Z rank. My first clear was a Z rank with the Orange Piccolo super soul and I only got the red ribbon chest piece and when I say only I mean *ONLY*

The super soul increases clothes dropping. Not skills and you can do it with him as an ai teammate or solo no friends or random needed

I got apocalypse burst in the first try lol. Just use Freeza race ki blast build with emperor's beam, with only 3 hits it's KO. Easy peasy.

The special beam canon beast drop rate is definitely not a 100% drop for getting Z rank. I mustve gotten like five Z ranks and I didn't get the drop until I luckily got a S rank. But I did the quest on single player mode which took me 3 hours to get the drop 😂. Online probably would've been way easier 😂. I still thought it was worth it. canon beast is probably imo the coolest ultimate in the game rn.

"My hobbies are arts and sports" SS is a goated SS for this but the only problem is, It's a definite masochist run because it has no support factor besides finish the mission and triples the score without zeni. But tbh they need a secondary effect for it.

Yes. It boost all strikes attacks and ki blast skills and can be stacked up to 5 times. I’ve tested it myself. And it does work with the ultimates

All of the new PQs are just to complete them in 7 minutes. But the last PQ is the only one that requires you to be over 50% health on yourself. So try not to take damage and the others. Just be quick about it. It’s pretty easy

Don't spread misinformation pls. Never in the history of Xenoverse 2 has getting an item or skill drop been linked to Z-Ranking a mission. It's not the case with this DLC either. It's RNG pure and simple.
