I do play with friends but most don’t usually do apex at all, the ones that do are on console and I am on pc (they get obliterated by a tap strafing wraith within 5 seconds)

How to get heirloom shards: Step by step guide 1. Buy the battlepass 2. Grind battlepass 3. Level up your account 4. Repeat I got my first heirloom shards at level 400 and i only bought two battlepasses. Another tip is to buy the story thingy, you can get crafting metals and apex packs there.

By the way, playing Arena is FAR faster at gaining points per minute than playing in BR. Rounds get over quickly and if you run with a decent squad you can finish a game in 10-12 minutes rather than 15+ and you get about the same Points (if not more).

Now that the team deathmatch is out it's easier. I did the calculations for you and it would take about 167 of playtime to go from lvl 1 to lvl 2000 (just time alive counted not kills etc.) Every deatch match is about 15 minutes and thats 3000 xp in time alive so if you want to lvl up I think this is the best way (you can get a lot of kills aswell) Ps. If 167 days of your life are worth less than 160 bucks for the heirloom I think you should go see someone or go out or find a hobby or sum

1:50 so.. ehh... I was a bit confused. 36k XP per level between 400 to 500? Well.. I guess that is *technically* correct (the best kind of correct), but not made very clear. From Level 57 all the way up to Prestige 1 Level 100 (i.e. Level 600) it is actually "only" 18k XP per level. The aforementioned 36k XP is for *Prestige* level 400-500 (i.e. 900-1000).

Staying alive doesn't give you exponential points. therefore, not dying is not any better than risking getting a kill and joining a new game. Sure you want to minimize the time spent in the lobby, but that minute can be easily overcome by damage and kills. So with that being said, the best strategy is a function of your skill level. You can look at your k/d and avg damage and win ratio to calculate the average points gain (in an aggressive match) and determine if it overcomes the time spent in the lobby.

So let me get this straight. A season lasts about 90 days, or 2160 hours. Grinding out 2000 levels using the boost from the BattlePass, and averaging 5 kills, 1000 damage, and a full 15 minutes per match, would take over 1100 hours. So 50% of the time that you're alive in that 90 day period is spent playing Apex. Take away a healthy amount of time for sleep (8 hours a night), and time to eat, go to the bathroom, and clean yourself (roughly 2 hours a day, give or take) and that leaves around 1260 hours in 90 days. So if you're not sacrificing sleep, food, and personal hygiene (that's a big if here), you'd need to spend nearly 90% of your time playing Apex..... Don't do this to yourself, it's not even remotely close to worth it

Oke so let's say you need 2000 hours to finish this grind which takes 250 days of playing apex legends daily 8 hours per day Ok now let's say that you have a part time job on Saturday and Sunday and you work 8 hours per day for a total of 16 hours per week and you get paid 10 dollars per hour which means 160 dollars per week So technically you can buy a heirloom in a 2 weeks if you just touch grass Dumb video imagine wasting thousands of hour looting and waiting for top 5 instead of having fun and actually improving at the game

Would it be faster to play areas instead (as solo). One time when I survived to the last 2 I got around 1500 points and the game lasted around 12 minutes. My arena game give me around 1200 but the time is only around 7 minutes. I would love to see a video on this or just an answer.

It’s a random chance but at 500 you’re guaranteed one, I believe. And i think the pity counter should restart after you get heirloom shards.

You have a 0.2% of getting shards from a pack. So you are guaranteed shards every 500 packs. However you can still get them on you 30th or 100th pack or whatever, you would have to be insanely lucky tho

I played a bit I season 0 apex and 1 but quit for a while but when season 9 dropped my friend got me on it again and now I'm level 497 so almost 500 I already have 1 heirloom that I got from lucky pack for level 178 and am now at 337 packs opened since I got that heirloom so as you can tell I've grinded and seeing how much exp to hit 500 it feels even crazier.

@@scruffletrucks what? Octane's is better than Wraith's. Because (for me of course), Octane's heirloom has more animations than Wraith, like inspect. Octane's heirloom looks shiny and has little cool details. Wraith's heirloom was the first one in the game, it doesn't have soo much animations and details. Looks cool thou but not the best.

Its insanely hard to get an heirloom without spending money, but the cheapest way is to buy the battlepass and if you reach level 100 then you will have 1300 apex coins, which is enough to buy the next battlepass, so you get a ton of apex packs but it will take ages.

2:56 here you show it takes 28.000XP to go from, for example, level 301 to 302. That's incorrect. I'm level 396 and it only takes 18000 for leveling up to 397. You start needing 18.000 XP from level 58, and that goes until 500. You really should double check that.

about the sponsor of your video...it is a copy of amd relive software that comes with amd video cards for years now...it records in bacround...you can set it for an our i think...and when u have a clip or something you just press the hotkeys and it saves the last clip lenght you set...lets say i just kill a full squad and i forget to record...i just press hotkeys and it saves the last 10 minutes or what i set it! hi mate i finished all the battle pass and all challenges upto week 8 ive got 7 challeges left im at lvl 208 ive got 143 kills on main ash and 123 kills on fuse have every charater ash has all unlocks excepet heiloom i dont have any of them i missed out of lobas buy 2 out 24 i only get a few kills here and there i mainly got for the grinds of the challeges can i get any help

Fun fact: One collection event has 12 epic and 12 legendary items. Epics cost 800 crafting metals Legendary costs 2400 In total u need 34800 crafting metals for a free heirloom.

i feel that remaking account would take less time then trying to speedrun 2k lvls. Like you creat new account play one match and open your packs and redoing it untill you get heilroom. On 400 opened packs you will have slightly more than 50% chance of getting an heilroom. + Less time to play till 500 packs, you will get second guarntied heirloom. - not 100% chance of getting an heilroom, kinda stuck on the same 6 default charecters. I don't know numbers now but from 2 years old video it took a lot less exp to get to the 10 level. So basicly you making 50 accounts and getting 10 packs on them.

How did this dislike ratio happen??? This was such an informative and objective video and so nice to have someone do the math. Why are people disliking this? He is not the one to blame that it takes so long to get an heirloom. Dont shoot the messanger

you can't see the dislikes... also if there is a high dislike ratio, it is because he got the xp level ups wrong. It caps out at 18k xp per level. I know this bc i have prestieged already lmao.

@@m3tricfpsprivat okay first of all - ima just go ahead and assume u are like level 20 because it takes a while to get to prestige level lmao. I wasn’t flexing, I was just stating a fact. I started playing in season 0 for about a month, took a break, got back to it in season 4, played until season 12, took a break, and started playing again in season 15. I got level 500 In season 12. It takes a long time to get to prestige, not once a month playtime lmao.

Compare me and my friend He spent 458 Euros on Apex and still hasn't got an heirloom. I didn't spend a single peny, on my 98-102th Box i got heirloom shards, my luck is sometimes way to good.

I am pretty sure playing Arenas is much better for leveling up...you get way more kills and wins...so although Arenas is dogshit...if you just want to level up... play it.

Well now I know how to level up faster but still no answers on getting an heirloom. Based off all the comments I read it’s 100% by chance. You’ve got people that got their first within days or weeks of just picking up the game and then you’ve got people who have played years and still don’t have 1. I thought games weren’t allowed to work like slot machines anymore. I love apex but this heirloom shit pisses me off. Especially considering 95% of their loot is common garbage that nobody wants
