I get all A’s and I’m in high honors my tip is to surround yourself with people who also do good in school. All my friends also get good grades and are in high honors. I guess you could also say we are known throughout the school too, so we aren’t considered “nerds”. Even if you do get good grades, that doesn’t make you a “nerd” it makes you smart for thinking about you future.
I disagree with this. I and pretty much all of my school friends are really engaged in school and take the hardest courses. However, that is all we have in common, it’s all we talk about, it’s all we do. It might help motivate me to do well myself, but it’s fucking exhausting. It’s so draining and I strongly dislike it. It’s important to have ppl in ur life who help push u, but constantly comparing each other and feeling bad in comparison or exhausted from it is a negative aspect of that. I think there is a balance maybe I just haven’t experienced it, but don’t push urself into a friend group with an academic motive. It will backfire. Ur friends just need to support you, that’s more important than the push
Her: always pay attention during your zoom call Me: *watches anime and listens to bts while my teacher’s talking about- I don’t know-* Edit: Love you armyyyyyyy! Stay strong💜💜💜
My lowest grade this year was a B+ and I’m super happy about my achievements this year. Especially because of COVID, and online learning. My tip is to keep your notes and any writing really neat, some teachers will grade you better if your writing is legible and neat.
For the one about having a good relationship with your teacher: whenever I notice something unique I like about the teacher (something that makes them different from other teachers ), I tell them in the assignment feedback portion whenever I go to submit an assignment. At the end of last school year, there was a discussion board where you had the opportunity to tell teachers what you thought of the class. At the end of my post, I good the teacher something I admired about her. When I got the feedback for the post, she said that she is thankful for my feedback and even cried a little; which made me realize teachers appreciate these sorts of comments.
@Gymnastics Girl 😂 here are some sighns that u MIGHT have adhd U jump alot or run alot U get distracted alot U dont want to do work Grades go very low U talk alot U have a very bad temper You talk back to your parents alot And u lie alot Note: i dont really talk back to my parents or lie u used to do alot but not now😂
her: "start ur work a couple of days in advance." me: watching netflix and youtube when i had a two week project that was due two weeks ago and i haven't even started... 😨😨😧
do it! I procrastinate a lot too, but now I'm just going to put a podcast on, clean my room and read that lecture we have to read till next week. Then I will revise maths and tomorrow I will try to finish the two projects that were due before Christmas (lol). You can do this!
@@nux5442 i was going to do the project over winter break but........ my ass was too lazy to get out of bed... lol. so, i can't ask my teacher for help bc she'll ask me why i didn't do it over winter break, also, like i said this was due like 2 weeks ago, and she doesn't really like late work.... so, i'll just pray that this isn't as big as a project as i thought... lol
@@boomble174 wdym? I still havn't done the assignment. But, my grade is now a zero for that assignment... um. let's not talk abt that. i feel like my first semester is always better than my second bc of parent teacher confrences. if i dont have good grades for the first semester, my freakin' teacher is gonna tell my parents at my conference, but we don't have conferences for the second semester luckily. kids, don't be like me
Here's a few tips: -take notes after class -study the lesson -keep your desk clean -don't have any addictions (like youtube, Netflix, anime, etc.) -do your assignments early -be active (it might be a big part of your grades)
My mother : I will tell you how to get all As Step1: stop using phone Step 2: STUDY step 3: GET A That how you get A Me:.😐..........thanks Edit:thank you so much for 22 likes but this is true while I was wacth this video I ask my mother and this what she said 🤣
I truly love people like this who take time out of there day to help others do thing they may strugle with ur videos help me so much and help me cope throughout the day!
One thing that helps me stay motivated is film a time lapse of myself working. Since it would look bad in the video if you just sat there so it motivates you to keep working! I like watching once I’ve finished because It’s really satisfying :)
too everyone here, good job. you care about your classes enough to be here and learn how t get better grade. or maybe your parents care...but you're here. your motivation is growing....do your best!
Good relationship with teacher ✔️ Quiet area with minimal distractions ✔️ Give self enough time ✔️ Pay attention and be engaged in class… Me who is shy and has social anxiety: “Welp…”
I’m completely shocked I have no words! This is so going to help me because I’ve been really lazy with online school and getting distracted and stuff thank you so much!
Relationship with teachers are important. Sometimes teachers have student bias without realizing and it’s your best interest to be in that student bias. It’s not hard, just be respectful and ask questions all the time. And teachers love when you stick around after class to ask them a question about a topic or stop by their class to ask questions. If you feel like you have a bad reputation with teachers, not too late to get on their good side. Most teachers like when you start to show interest or a positive change in attitude. A lot of the teachers I’ve seen, have the most relationship with the students who seem to always get in trouble and that’s because those students are always having to be talked to. So that teacher probably spends most of his/her time with said student, developing a relationship whether they know it or not.
I'm so glad my school gives us a journal (it has dates and a place to write the subject, go into detail about what it is and it has a place to checkmark it when your done that assignment and loads of more stuff in it.
thank you for these tips. I was very nervous for my sophomore year this year since I will be taking 2 AP classes. I got all A’s and couldn’t be more thankful for this video. Came back to say thank you 😊
I have a 94.3 general average but I ranked 22 in our class out of 43, I’m watching this so I can be one of our class top 10🥺 Wish me luck, thank you for this!!!
Yes having a good relationship with your teachers is one of the best things ever bc I have a good relationship with one of my teachers and I told her if she could boost my grade to an 80 instead of an 70 and she said all I had to do was one extra assignment that wasn’t long at all and I was done! And I didn’t get yelled at by my parents😌 best teacher ever😌🤚
to all my lazy, or unproductive people: i have never studied a day in my life, i fall asleep in class because of health problems i have, and can’t focus due to my adhd, and other health issues which make me prone to falling asleep or losing focus, ive had all a’s my entire life and have always been top of my class. don’t stress it
your voice is so soothing and your video quality/editing skills is great! this is one of the best videos i have ever seen and i am definitely subscribing!! 💕💕
i am late finding this, but after watching this video i realized i should take notes to how to study better and get good grades. i am going into highschool this year for the first time and i am very nervous for myself. i am not the smartest. but you have explained so well in this video, i managed to take notes with my own examples and the motivation to do this. thank you very much, i hope i have the grade glow up :)
i can't maintain a good relationship with my math teacher, i'm sorry. THAT GUY IS GETTING ON MY NERVES. he screams at me for no reason, and he hates me too :)
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9 “For God so loved the World that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 That’s how much he loves us that he sacrificed his own Son so that we wouldn’t have to be in Jesus spot so that we wouldn’t have to suffer.💕
The budgeting time methods seems helpful. Theres always study channels that says do the most important task or assignment first on your to do list. But they never realise about how much time it takes. I always followed their tips but it never actually helped. So thanks for that ahah!
so today i check my result of this term and i got A* in 6 subject except 2 subject in which i got B and C . and after checking my result youtube recommended me this video , lol i am hear to improve it !! 1] i really dont have a good relationship with teachers idk why ! teachers dont reply my messages related to work and if i have difficulties . 2] i dont have any good space to study where i feel comfortable . 3] i always plan my day and study time but never follows . now some good habits 1] once i start study i dont get up until i my own self get satisfied that i now understand, study for 5 hours 2] always pay attention in class as teachers do not help me out a lot . 3] i think i get everything quick. the big problem that i have is that i dont have a place where i study , i dont even have a room due the problem that the house we have is of 2 rooms, a living room, a kitchen, 2 washrooms and a store area that is for kitchen stuff something area .. i dont know why i am writting this but yeah just want to share !! cuz nowdays i am really stress out due to studies .
Me emails teacher: hi! Hope you have a great day! Me emailing that everyday: The school system after me emailing them that everyday and my teacher not responding for 4 months: pls stop spamming or you will get banned. Me: 👁👅👁
I don’t have online school since I’m in private but these really helped. I went from A’s and B’s to all A’s. I did so much of my school work over the holiday break lmao. Thanks so much 💙
Sorry for the late replay (RU-vid doesn’t like to notify me), but it’s honestly great. Online school stressed me out a lot and I got frequent panic and anxiety attacks due to confusion. I’m one for hands-on activities so in person school is so much better.
I love your video! It was helpful, i’m moving to online since schools are opening again. And covids getting worse. And I found out i’m a visual learner!
Step one: Check. Mrs.Teacher is so sweet! I always turn in all of my assignments, and focus deeply. I also give thank you notes daily! Step 2: I’ve made a whole desk area, and have been productive since the start of school. Step 3: I snapshot and note all of the details she says. I always give myself mini breaks to talk to my parents because I’m ✨s e n s t I v e✨ Step 4: I focus a lot, and since I’m a little nervous, I always give notifications, or verify I’m listening. Step 5: I write in notes, on my IPad. Thank you for the advice! Step 6: I usually make sure my handwriting is as neat and pretty as possible, and I keep up my grades pretty well. Step 7: I use lots of summer schools just to get me prepared for the school year in the summer, and packets. Also, khan academy is the best! Step 8: My learning style is focusing a lot, and I take quizzes. I also make sure to keep my grades up like in step 6. Step 9: I don’t really wanna list that. Thanks for making this! I appreciate it. :D byeee!
My first 14 weeks in online freshman year and I’m failing algebra! Though we have a small amount of assignments if I miss one my grade can go down a whole letter 😰 any tips for time management?
freshman year is definitely a huge adjustment so i can only imagine how it would be online! but i would just try and prioritize assignments based on the due date and how time consuming you think they will be. so if you have one assignment due on monday, try and get that done before you do any over your other assignments that may be due later in the week. for me, it helps to just work on one assignment at a time instead of switching back and forth between multiple things. and try and start assignments as soon as you get them (you don’t have to finish it right away, just work on it a bit at a time so that you aren’t stressed out when the due date comes). and be sure to take breaks when you need them! you need time to recharge in order to maximize your productivity. i hope this helps, pls let me know if you have any other questions 😊
@@p.anthony_xpert1013 don’t lose hope! maybe you can talk to some of your teachers and see if they will be willing to work with you to help get your grade up. i wish you all the best.
bro i tried emailing my teacher and she said we can meet after school, but i always forget- i’ve sent 2 emails so far and i’m always forgetting to meet them- HELP
oh my gosh that’s happened to me before, i felt so bad 😂 maybe you can try setting several reminders on your phone. or like typing a reminder in your notes and making it your lock screen. if that doesn’t work then maybe put a sticky note on your computer and make sure you don’t remove it
this up coming holidays i’m looking to get my teachers hot chocolate bombs my s.s teacher was talking to another teacher that they wanted some and i eavesdrop on their convo and i think that’ll be a good gift
where i live we are already on summer vacations, my grades weren’t overall bad, but this are my tips for online classes that i learned from my errors : (notice that my school year started on February and ended in December) 1. to pay attention in classes don’t be near distractions, use headphones for preference. 2. try prioritizing your homework, when it’s the first thing you do you get the rest of the day free. 3. WRITE. THINGS. DOWN. the ppl with the best grades are always the ones who use special tools like notebooks, sticky notes, etc. (unless you have a great ass memory) 4. adapt to your teachers, this one i hate to admit but it’s the truth. if you don’t do things the way they want you to do so, their thoughts about you will go 📉 (mostly when they are closed-minded) i know it’s hard but putting in effort makes a payback.
Thanks! Fifth grade will be easier now that all these people give me tips! In my school fifth and sixth graders are seniors or stage 3, seventh grade is the start of highschool. They will start note-taking and quizzes so i need to prepare!
For those who feel like they can't maintain Straight A's because you don't have the best relationship with your teacher I want to say that I didn't either in the beginning of the year I was struggling and on top of that my teacher didn't like me I tried but still she disliked me. The next quarter I got Straight A's and for some reason my teacher had a whole new respective on me and I maintained it and now I feel happy thank you because I would sometimes look at these type of acc because I felt my teachers didn't like me and this was one of them and yeah very thankful!
hey, thank you so much for all these tips! I'll try these! Tbh, when online classes started last yr, my grades are straight A's in the 1st semester, everything was harmonious, until...the *2nd semester* came. ALL OF MY GRADES WERE DOOMED but I'll work harder this year. I still plan to graduate with flying colors. 🙏✨
Her: have good relationships with your teachers This is very true bc a girl in my class was so close with my teacher but not that good at the subject and wouldn't get along with the teacher but was excellent and the subject except that girl got more than me so always have a good relationship with your teacher.
aww thank you so much!! and yeah i posted it a few months ago and it just recently started picking up so i’ve learned that i’ve just gotta be patient haha. but i am really grateful for how well it’s doing now 😊
Thanks for all of these tips I just heard my mom calling me and she told me my report card was low so I wanted some tips that help me and this really help. Thanks :)))
