There’s a cut at 3:52. All I said was you need to train the skills you actually need in games… for example if you can’t handle the ball under pressure in games then the solution is to….
also it’s all apart of the grind, make sure to stretch and take care of your body whenever possible, if i’m even remotely sore or physically tired i use a massage gun

Once you hit puberty, get on a good strength training program. So many basketball players are scared to lift but getting stronger, especially in the squat, added 10 inches to my vert. You just got to lift for strength and power. And not like a bodybuilder. -PJF performance -Overtime athletes -Garage strength Are all good RU-vid channels for learning to lift to get more athletic.
Thanks still do these stuff all the time still tho fo realz so I've actually been on the right track still to be the best basketball 🏀 player that I can be tho still so yeah respects!.❤😊

Ok first it’s great you have a hoop at your house! In Order to get better as a shooter by yourself you have to make your shooting workouts challenging. So one thing I would do is challenge myself to make 7/10 threes and if I don’t I have to do a certain amount of push-ups or do wall sits for one minute. It doesn’t have to be 7/10 it could be whatever number you want to hit as your goal. But it’s important to add pressure to your solo workouts because that’s how it’s going to be in games. Another solo drill is to shoot speed shots, put on a timer for one minute and challenge your self to make like 15 three’s in one minute or something like that, if 15 is too much then lower it to like 7 or 10, if you don’t hit your goal then do push-ups or wall sits or something, and keeping repeating until you hit the goal. This drill will force you to shoot shots at game speed under pressure. Also work on ball handling, my favorite “drill” is just to freestyle dribble with the ball, it’s hands down the best way to improve your handles, just spam a bunch of random moves while dribbling down the court to challenge your handle. Also work on speed changes, meaning focus on dribbling slow then all of a sudden speeding up to blow past your defender to throw that defender off guard. Also work on defense/conditioning, I have a defensive conditioning workout on my channel and I’ll have more coming soon as well💯 if you still have any more questions you can ask me as many as you want👍🏽
