a few weeks ago, I decided to build a large tavern that looked like the sort of late medieval german houses (you can find them in southern Sweden where the company Hansa operated). One thing I noticed was that Obsidian had a really nice dark colour, ended up using it for the roof instead of the Basalt I was planning on. Turned out quite great.
