@@amariestevens6978 I only had one bad experience with Vacations to Go, so maybe it was just me. 😂😉 It has been so long ago I don't even remember what the specific issue was, but there was some kind of serious issue I had with my booking.
This only works if you’re traveling with someone else. If you’re planning on going solo they’ll mark up your ticket anywhere from 0% to sometimes over 100%
Yeah VTG is a third party company so make sure you read the fine print. Just because the cruise line would refund normally, you're not paying the cruise line directly. You pay VTG and they pay the cruise line, so VTG has your money. They also cut a lot of their commissions to make the cruise look cheaper. Book thru a reputable Interline company if you qualify for Interline rates, with a good TA that pays the cruise line directly with your card or even booking direct.
Spoiler alert. Once you go on and click on 90 day tracker, it makes you register so you have to input your information. That’s how far I’ll go bc not only am I lazy but I’m not getting spam from this site after inputting my email address.
Yes, but we all don’t live near ports, requiring a flight, which usually requires at least 30 day advanced notice for a reasonable rate, plus a hotel overnight.
Some of our clients do this… (they’re retired so they can).. they go down to Galveston, check out the cruises, and cruise within two days. They get balconies, even the occasional suite, at big discounts.
IE They need to fill up those rooms that no one else wants to book. Something tells me you may not like your accommodations, LOL! And you certainly won't be getting the package perks of booking earlier. I would be very hesitant to go this route, jmho!
I did check it out, it doesn't require any email verification or cards. It did offer me a bunch of legit cruises that were in the 500-1000 dollar range at 90% discounts but I can't say for certain that those are legitimate offers.
Well, you should check out the ship before you book. At least one of these cruise businesses have old, shabby, worn-out boats that serve so-so food and have very few activities.
Yeah, they are kind of a cesspool of human congestion. I got sick as a dog on one carnival cruise. Quick tip: go Royal Caribean. It is worth that extra star in food quality and service.
Royal Caribbean wanted to charge me $6000 for a 6 day cruise back in April, $5100 for a non guaranteed inside balcony... I've been on 26 cruises at Rccl and this how they treat a diamond member.
