Good video... appreciate the info on balancing and using the clamp mount. I see that on my iPhone 14, when correctly centered, the clamp seems to be pressing the down-volume button. Is that OK? Or better to move it a bit so that the button is not pressed, even if it will be a bit off-center? Thanks.
Another great instruction video! This gimbal is #1 in its price range. I love your BTS approach - it’s really helpful to understanding your concepts. Thanks again for all you do!
Heh buddy. This is a great video. Thanks for sharing especially it’s really quite challenging taking videos on a solo trip.. i would like to know though how you will be prompted when you use the “follow” settings on the gimbal..
thank you very very much for your work, I very appreciate that. Very useful and simple to understand even though I was Italian :) Congrats from Italy ❤👌
The new Insta360 Flow Pro works with any app including the iPhones native camera, so you can record in ProRes when using it, but it only tracks humans.
I typically start with a conversion LUT to transform the clip in to a rec709 color space. From then on I do some adjustments in the exposure, contrast, saturation and correcr the white balance. After thta I apply a creative LUT for the final look.
@@BenettGraezer Thank you for replying. Sounds technical. What machine do u use to colour it? Or can be done with iPhone? Im hope to achieve that by using filters haha
I took this with me to Thailand and it was definitely super convenient to use compared to other gimbals I have used in the past. The standby mode is genius
Thank you for going over the manual camera settings in the 360 App. I was a little intimidated by them. I usually just let my iphone figure out the best settings. But maybe it's time I did some of them myself.
great shots! I just got a 15pro max with 256GB storage and with a case the total weight is about 268grams which the flow should be able to handle. I just don't want to use my pricey phone without a case...but I want to record in pro res LT using blackmagic and that means I would need an external SSD or something...II have a Samsung SSD but it weights 70grsm which would put the whole thing over the flow's 300grm limit...I will look into a high speed USB maybe...the 360app records in H265 correct? or are there any options? Your footage looked good but typical iphone footage-a bit too sharp and saturated..I would prefer Pro Res LT and apple log.
@@BenettGraezer hey there! You are right...Pro Res LT is all I would need and I have 170GB free on my iphone (enough for under 30 minutes in Pro res LT!) but only for Broll...I think that for most videos H265 will be enough without needing external storage. I'm curious to explore the 360 gimbal's creative app...I know that if I use blackmagic I would not be able to use the insta phone app...by the way, did you try the osmo mobile 6 too? if so, do you prefer the insta 360? thanks for the video. What a location! Take care
Thank you! I just started watching this video and FINALLY someone gives me a clear defintion on how to balance the phone and and THEN you said to make sure the little arrow is on the side with the camera. Genius!!! I normally shooot 1080p because the files aren't so massive. How did you attach the gimbel to the tree?? YOu are an excellent teacher! Subscribing! Happy holidays!!
Another great video, I’m looking to buying a gimbal for my iPhone, going on vacation in two months, would you recommend this Insta360 flow over the Hohem iSteady M6 ? Thank you for your help.
great video and explanation on how to use, I am a new gimbal user and this really helps!! My only issue and please correct if I am wrong is, I have the new iPhone 15 Pro Max and when using the DJI Ap, it wont allow me to use any ProRes setting or Log. Is this correct or am I missing something?
I've tried both, and while they're both excellent, the Insta360 Flow stands out due to its additional features that enhance convenience. With stronger motors, a built-in power bank, one-step rapid deployment, and a more user-friendly standby mode, it offers a superior user experience.
1. It does, I bought this gimbal yesterday and I test it with a xiaomi 11T that weights about 200g (9,44lbs) and it works perfectly. I'm gonna buy your same phone tomorrow anyways, so I will able to try both. 2. the cable in the package is USBC - USBA to charge the gimbal with your phone charger, there's no cable to connect it to the phone
1. I haven’t tested it out but the Insta360 flow has strong motors, I even usedit with a lens, so it should be able to handle the weight of the pro max. 2. Dont know if they will keep the lighting cable or change it to usb-c
@@BenettGraezer can you please make a video on best mobile phone gimbal? Or you can share here only which is the best budget friendly phone gimbal according to you.
im also have this gimbal and was really disapointed - no HDR support on iphones 14 and higher, and zoom wheel cannot be used also as focus wheel like on my zhuiyn smooth 5s (( trying to contact to support to add this feature - but still (17 feb 2024) not added(( really disapointed!
