Thanks for taking the request! These tips are great, everyone watching this, ya'll gotta understand how important NETWORKING is. Like he said, use social media, find hashtags, go to art shows and meet people, talk to artists. Artists have some of the biggest egos in the world, especially rappers lol. I know it seems kinda cynical but you can take advantage of that cause they'll be more inclined to wanna work with you if you come to them with a good quality product because it makes them feel like a quality artist (hopefully they are)

I think for pricing. You need to know what the competition is. What I did when I first started, I made a post on Craig's List just saying that I wanted a music video done. From there, I had people of all walks of life e-mail me their rates. From there, you can see the equipment that they use. See who has a similar gear set up as you. When you first start out, it can be overwhelming and this helped out so much.

Great tips, I've already experienced the bs clients and i've also dropped pricing and they still bs on getting videos shot but it's definitely part of the process lol. They'll call back later when they are serious and can pay but great work man. I've been watching for a few months now and didn't know that you were in DC Im in VA but most of my clients are in MD for now but maybe we can link up some day

I've learned a huge amount from you and that's why I subbed! You're amazing and I hope to get on your level one day. Would you reccomend two Channels to separate work and a bit of personal life. I have started doing party videos and want to get into music videos and short films. Should I have a channel for only work and them somewhat personal life and product reviews. Or follow along the same style you're doing where you mix both in together. Or when I get more established separate the two? Once again love the work, keep up the amazing job!

If you don't got happy mediums just expect work on your profile. Don't leave your about me blank so people can ignore you. Im the Cardinal sinner when it comes to setting up social media, but I won't give up. I *want to* use hashtags, have good SEO or batch tools, and jab with other founders / designers. All it takes is compliments, as also it comes to your posts you want to add a small story or even a poem.
