I mean, if you really want fast coins per hour, use the scooter with jump shocks and do cup races. Die as quick as you can by jumping on your head immediately after "Go". You won't waste time actually trying to win any races, and you still get orange chests each time. Much faster coins per hour compared to actually playing the game, but you might go through gems pretty quick.
