No one and NO ONE actually wants to have curly hair. They just want curls for couple days. Then they want their straight hair back so they don't have to deal with the absolute mess curly hair is every single morning for the rest of their lives.
Woah that RU-vid search feature is interesting and weird at the same time I'm black so I guess I'm naturally blessed with curly hair and braiding it curls it even more
Be VERY careful with that "time under tension" concept. Constant and repeated tension on hair roots kills the follicles, and it's often permanent. It's a condition called "Traction Alopecia". If you're going to use this method, make sure you're just twisting gently and folding the hair in on itself to get the curl and not putting a lot of tension on the roots.
I used to have insanely natural curly hair when I was goin thru puberty, which is weird because I had straight hair when I was a kid. Now I’m a full grown adult and it went back to being straight and I really miss it haha
its happening to me, know why? because ive had for all my life straight hair but since 12, my hair turn naturally curly.. i dont want curly hair though
@@synnvalorant When puberty is over it will straighten up again. I was put on a hormone suppressant due to my poor testosterone-estrogen regulation. After they put me on it my hair went straight again.
@@Kavaitsu did u not get them shortened? like personally my barber cuts like an inch off to keep them looking fresh every 4-5 weeks, I’m mainly asking for your experience with them cuz mine get abit out of hand if I don’t cut them
All I had to do to get my "toddler curls" back was basically to NEVER towel dry or brush right after showering and VOILÁ, after an hour later after air drying, back to curliness again.
Think it would look better if you did smaller sections. Since you hair is straight and doesn’t curl well, they need to be smaller and tied tighter. It will be more work but it will come out better
Hi Brett, yesterday you said that wash your hair less.. does it mean every time I take a bath, I won't give shampoo to my hair for a few days or it doesn't wet the hair at all ?
@@williamcecil4265 so what does a normal week look like for you? Do you shower everyday but not your hair, and only shampoo once a week? I think this approach had worked for me to
I use the curling iron but if I happen to run or partake in soccer, it’s back to normal. Is there anything I can use to hold the curls like creams or sprays or will I have to quit working out and doing soccer 😬
man it's not possible, curly hair are "written" in your DNA, it's a condition of the cheratin that make "bounds" within the same filament and make the hair grow in a shape that look like a spiral
@@whiteway_6304 Yes it's possible. 1. it's called curly baby hair, it can easily go away after the first haircut 2. hair texture can change during your life
You just fold it on itself, it's much easier than it sounds. Have you ever wrapped something with a rubber band, like a bag of chips or something? Same thing.
i think my hairs too short idk how to put the tie around the curl, the curl always undoes it self so i never get a chance to put the hair tie around it
It's really simple, it's just a hair tie, it functions the same way as a rubber band. Put the hair through it, then wrap the rubber band around itself, or a hair tie in this case. It's much easier than it sounds.
