This is useful but very far I will tell the easiest way to get dark shard Just find desert each desert has at least 1 dark shard ore it could be the large one and small one both so just find desert and you are good to go
if you're in a critical condition, quit the game or use the teleporter to teleport you somewhere safe cause the game would pause a few sec if you open any menu (only in single-player tho)
