You have nothing to worry about when hacking Animal Crossing towns! Its super easy with the map editor, and if things do glitch out, you can super easily just load in your previous town and tadaa no problems! then you just trial and error until you get what you want without any glitches! Absolutely nothing to worry about! Ive never glitched out when hcking my town and ive done it many times!

It’s actually super simple, just make a copy when you hack so if you do mess up you can always have your copy to fix it :)

I did my first hack yesterday and everything turned out perfectly, I'm using a 3ds emulator on my laptop (citra) and it works perfectly so I'm sure it would work the same for ds

I was hacking fine until homebrew downloaded some sketchy corrupted files to my SD Card. I did nothing wrong, just homebrew can sometimes mess up your SD card because of it crashing so much. I might have just gotten unlucky but it’s just a heads up. I had to reformat my SD card and now my digital games are all gone but have fun if you try it out! :)

Open the villagers tab in the editor, you will get a list of all your current villagers along with a number before their name, that number corresponds to the house they are in. Click the pencil by the villagers name and vuala! You can change them into another villager. Do not the friendship status will be the same as the villager you replaced them as! So they won't act like they are new to the town unless you replace a brand new villager that moved in with them before greeting. Hope that helps!

thank! yeah with dirt paths thats as straight as it can get. Just stay on the same day. other wise you can use clovers for paths.

Star Dreamer oh no this is just how you do it with hacks. You can get dirt paths without hacking but it takes a long time and they aren’t perfect!

Did you make sure it’s a recent file save otherwise you’ll be traveling in the future and the path will be gone.

TheWonderfulSofia It doesn’t stay on the same day by itself. Every time I load up the game I make sure it’s on the same day. You don’t have to play this way, you could run on your paths to maintain them. But I like everything perfect.

if you want acnl on your pc your best bet is to emulate it-- i reccomend using a 3ds emulator called citra and you can find tutorials on how to download it and "roms," for it which is how you load up and play the games. ask for questions if you have any, ill respond.

@@CatssInBootss okay actually on citra theres a button at the bottom right left hand corner of the screen that says "click here to find a room," and by clicking that you can open up a room or one of your friends. once you do that in animal crossing you can head over to the train station and it should automatically connect you to your friends town if youre in their room. hope this helped. ask me more questions and if it didnt work ill try and help

@@mith3620 first of all make sure that your 3ds have custom firmware (like luma3ds), install app called jskv on your 3ds, and then get your safe file from there, its pretty easy though
