Very helpful video! Always found assistive touch clunky. Quick action on my Apple Watch Ultra 1 works a treat for stopping the timer - been irritated by having to touch the face with full/dirty hands for years! Thanks again.
It makes no sense to use double tap to scroll through Smart Stack and NOT be able to select anything or Play/Pause media. Frustrating. If I'm using double tap it means my hands are full or dirty and I can't touch the screen. So if I have to touch the Play/Pause button anyway why am I using double tap? BTW, I'm using the series 10. Assistive Touch is way too confusing for me at the moment. I tried it but it seems like I have to navigate through more menus. Apple needs to update this so that we can select the Play/Pause buttons within Smart Stack.
Update: I have discovered that in the settings for the watch that you can choose to have the double tap function "SELECT" within the Smart Stack instead of just "ADVANCING" through the Stack. So now you can Play/Pause media within the Smart Stack.
On accessibility under Control devices, I was able to use it to control my iPhone with either a Tap, Double tap or clench. You can assign which actions you want for each one and it's super responsive and now I can control my iPhone more freely with it. I have the apple watch series 6 and it worked extremely well
I had gone back to assistive touch on my AWU2 it work, okay. Double tap is unpredictable and limited. My AW6 works really well, better than my AWU2 with assistive touch with double tap and fist clench.
