Yitzy Laza Hey man! It takes a bit of practice! I actually tried showing my mate this the other day and he had never touched the game before...he was finding it difficult himself. Remember it's all about exploiting animations with 2k. You won't be able to explode one way unless its a natural fluid movement for your player, thats why the specific size move i show you helps. That said, it is just like everything else in this world, practice make perfect!

Press R2 as you cut back, its all about timing and all about understanding how to get your player to come out of the animation of dribbling smoothly. Don't think of it as a human movement, think of it as 2 separate animations that you are trying to tie together seemlessly..

Rosetta Coleman It sure does man, it's actually easier to do on 2K14, you don't need that size move, you just call the pick, move slightly round the pick and then sprint the other way. I used to abuse it SO much more in 2K14, but they made it more difficult to pull off this year.

What rating is your player/how good a shot is he? Nothing is guaranteed to work 100%, it's just what i found to be more useful than not. Anything that gives you a decent % shot in this game is a good play in my book, the shot going in or not is just down to your release and player stats!

edpenn13 ok thanks I just started my guy so he's pretty bad but he is a 66 shooting guard but I was able to always drive but it might just be me and I was trying to call offensive plays I'm but it never works

You using a PG? if that is not the case, you won't be able to call plays in other positions unless you have the On-court coach badge

That's just my players natural movement when coming of the size up move. I don't press sprint until I'm running back the other way, and that forces my player into that specific animation!

Dynamite 01 Sorry to hear buddy, what team are you playing on? Who are you teammates? Do you have dimer equipped? When your teammates get the ball and don't shoot...are they open or are you just passing the ball to them with their opponent still marking them tightly?

Just got 6 but like my teammates like dont do much scoring. Even if I get 6 assists and score like 40 points we usually lose and the Wizards. ***** definitly leaving after this rookie season. I got like 12 games left in the season and im 72 Overall so I should get to 73 or maybe 74 by the time the seasons over

SqueekerBud You need to hit the sprint button only when you're bursting round the corner off the pick. Don't hold sprint unless you're making your move to the basket. That should help slightly. And I'm not sure about the state farm, I can't remember when and how I got mine, try google?

Esat Akan Get/Buy a release you know you can get green (perfect) releases all the time, cause if you get a green. Its going to go in no matter what, and always use that spin jumpshot when driving baseline, its cheese everytime. And upgrade your athlete till you become somewhat fast, not super fast, then work on your shooting, playmaking and defense, in any order.

XxHYPER MAN make sure you only press the sprint button when reversing the pick. Literally only move the analogue stick for the whole of the play, until you want to "explode" the other way towards the basket. If you time it right you should notice a boost and get by the man pretty easily.

StrikeEcho Shit man! Well reversing a pick and roll should still work to some degree even if you can't call an isolation. Otherwise i would recommend just running pick and rolls. 2K's primary game mechanic has always been the pick and roll. It's just up to us as players to learn how to exploit that and cause the opposition guards to move where we want them to. Either reversing it or running a pick and roll normally and passing to the rolling man should get you assists. The other easy way is to pass in transition off a steal or a block, so maybe up your interceptor and steal stats and start reaching in the passing lanes. I pick up 2/3 of my assists per game off transition passes! Good luck though man!

***** That's usually what i try to do. I love the pick and roll and it works flawlessly to get a dunk or a give me lay up. But, when I pass out of it to an open player usually one of three things happen, they pass it right back to me, pass it to another player, or throw up a nice fresh brick. Not sure because I play with the Bucks the players are young and not confident enough in their shot making so they decide to pass or what. But, all I know is I usually end a game with over 40 points because I never pass because usually there is no benefit to me. So confused on what to do, don't know how many times I've sworn at Sanders, Parker, and Ersan playing this game! Now I should add last year playing on the Celtics I've never had this problem!

StrikeEcho fuck man, those are 3 horrible outcomes! The only other thing i can suggest is to play a 12 minute quarter game you don't care about, and literally try every single one of the set plays that the Bucks have. Often you find 2/3 that work a lot in terms of getting points/assists. But knowing you're on the Bucks, I feel a large part of it is that your teammates simply trust you more than they do themselves. Maybe a trade is in order...? I get you what you mean though, because whilst its fun to score a ton, it does wear out. Dishing around and putting number all over the box score usually is more fun. Are there any other tutorials on YT specifically for shooting guards?

You just made a good point, because now that I think of it usually Kidd has the order to run the offense through my guy. Hopefully the young guys will develop and become more confident shooters and until then I guess I'll be hanging on to the ball until the shot clock is at 4 to force them to shoot when I pass. And I'll have to look if there are any sg tutorials, if not I possibly see about a position change to pg. Thanks for all the help!

Christopher Whaley Both sometimes, it just about getting your opposition player to move into the screenman, how you do that is up to you. Sometimes a cross works, sometimes teh sizeup, sometimes just moving, and sometimes it doesnt work and you have to reset the screen man again.

Irshad Zahidi Yeah that happened with me too earlier on in the game. Only PG's can call plays....juts keep playing and upgrading your player. Eventually you'll become the star and the coach won't ever play you out of position. You can still run pick and rolls as an SG though, juts make sure the floor is kind of spaced if you do..

It was a save file. It took me 4 hours to even talk 2 somebody from 2k support for them 2 say ''You can't get it back''.But these techniques work great !
