Here is all you need to know about getting that extra range and features you are after. I'll explain the d2d based rf kits I use every day and the most popular options you may not even know about.

Hi my remote starter suddenly stopped working after I had my truck repaired at a local garage. They said they didn’t disconnect any wires. I believe the battery was disconnected; if it was, would it cause any issues? I tried following the reprogramming steps like, turn ignition ON and OFF 5 times and tap the remote button once but didn’t work. 😢 What do you think could be wrong with it?

Great information! Do you need to hook up to the bypass or the remote starter? Or does that matter?

HEY Lessco Electronis I bought a Excalibur Al-2060...since I have installed it in my 2008 Toyota Sequoia Platinum...I've had nothing but problems...I have managed to get it to remote start, but not at long ranges no where near 2 miles, when I stop my truck I noticed that my unit ticks , and my tailgate used to open with the system ,but shortly after it only opens remotely with the factory fob. It doesn't even open via the inside dash panel button...I need to remove it and possibly get a T-harness for easy connection...What do you recommend since everybody who installs remote/security systems around me (Ft. Worth) don't install Excalibur at least what I've seen?

I have a 2012 Rogue that uses smart key with an Automate one button remote start. The brain is a Directed 4X03 that uses and automate 7111A remote. It has terrible range. Is this something that can be connected to that system? Or do you offer any options?

I have a 2004 grand prix with the monsoon radio system in it. I have component 6.5 in the front doors, a 3.5 center speaker in the dash, a 6.5 coaxial in rear doors and component 6x9 in rear above rear seats . I changed all the speakers to jbl and with 12 inch woofer by mb quarts. what I would like to know is what amplifier or amplifiers should I use for the12 channels I have to amplify also what is a good double din radio for me. Thank You I appreciate your expertise

hi just install flashlogic rs with oem remote to start with 3x lock press on 2007 honda accord. is there a way to byapss the 2nd lock honk that honda does to use rs? i already program to lock unlock lock and i dont like the way.

@@Lesscoelectronics I bought the Fortin CHRT5, the Fortin RF642W remotes, and the Fortin RF-A2A remote adapter. Is that all I need in order to add the remotes? Or is the wiring on your left hand at 6:10 a completely separate item? Edit: OK I read the description. I did order everything needed. How do I know if the remotes I got are the Fortin or Fortin 2?

Hey - I have a 2012 Explorer with a Fortin EVO-Fort1 installed hit the lock 3X's. Working great. I want to add a Compustar Prime G15 1way RF Kit. My question is which harness would I need to make this work?

the rf-a2a and you need to turn on the protocol for the compustar rf kit with a flashlink.

Hey mate, I do use the forting kit for my Jeep but from the T harness I only have the yellow wire connected between the jeep and the fortin device. So if I buy that smartphone kit, where would that plug go from the t harness? Thanks in advance

that connects into the 4 pin data port with a y splitter usually, it gets everything from there.

I'm trying to setup the LINKR-LT1 to my Evo One. In the software I already selected Fortin 2 in the RF Kit Compatible but when I tried to learn the telematics by pressing the button for 5 seconds nothing happens. Any idea of what I'm doing wrong?

Be sure to use the llrs adapter... LEARN THE TELEMATICS DEVICE TO THE EVO-ONE In order to communicate with the remote starter, the MyCar must be learned to the EVO-ONE. 1 - Cycle the ignition to the ON position. 2 - The YELLOW LED on top of the EVO-ONE should come ON. 3 - Press and Hold the EVO-ONE push button for 5 seconds. 4 - The parking lights and the RED LED on the side of the EVO-ONE will turn ON. 5 - Release the push button. 6 - Press and Release the push button 5x times. Everytime the push button is pressed the parking lights and the RED Led on the side of the EVO-ONE will blink. 7 - Then Press and Release the Brake pedal. 8 - Seconds later the RED LED on the side of the EVO-ONE will blink once to confirm that the MyCar ID has been learned to the EVO-ONE. 9 - Cycle the vehicle’s ignition to the OFF position to Exit the EVO-ONE programming.

Yes, I have the LLRS adapter connected to the blue port on the evo one. The problem is when I hold the evo one push button for 5 seconds I dont see the red led coming on.

no sir, you would need an aftermarket kit to add an aftermarket phone app kit.

Realize this is a old post but I want to ask a question for a old car. 🤣😂 Anyways have a '04 Tahoe, 4.8L engine. 3 button remote. Have a Fortin Evo All, Compustar Remote Start system I bought about 18 months ago, it got lost in shuffle of things, found in tub the other day after looking for 4 hours. Want to install on my Tahoe. Where can I get wiring diagrams as the free wire color download card has expired. Also can I have cellphone remote start, if so are they all subscription based? Are there any that may be wifi based as the house would be the main place I'd remote start it and it's outside garage on other side of house. Have great wi fi due to security camera I installed for video feed but am hoping or would like to have good range unless the ones I described are good? Also with all the newer stuff, last I'd heard a couple years back plug and play from 2010-2011 forward have the Advanced it anymore where there's harnesses for my 2004 Tahoe that'll save on the stripping, soldering of wires or is that still the only option on 04 model Tahoe vehicles? Hopefully my questions are understandable?😬😬
