They say the best way to get to know your partner is to travel with them and I feel like y’all aced it! :) I’m currently sitting at the O’Hare airport (Chicago) heading to Miami and was planning on taking the 150 bus! However, the airline recently notified me that our flight is delayed so I won’t be getting there until 9pm. I don’t know how I feel about being on public transportation at night. . Maybe Uber/Lyft might be my best bet! **shrug**

Agreed! Traveling with someone else will bring out your true self 😂 Thankfully I’ve got a good one 😉 I’m so sorry for your flight delay, that’s never fun. How are you managing the time? I’d also think about maybe taking an Uber at night- the bus is great but I like to see where I’m going!

You sure do! I’ll be visiting Italy next month with a friend and I’m a little nervous to see how they act under pressure😅 My flight went from 2:25-6:39pm to 4:52-9:06pm. I’m pretty bummed out since I wanted to arrive close to the hotel check-in time. . As long as I get there before midnight 😆

Hello! 305 Girl here, it would be easier to get the $5 MDT ticket. But $2.25 one way would be fine. You could also take MetroRail to Gov Center and then take bus to S Beach. Always remember to plan your trip accordingly if youre going to take public transportation, because airports sometimes are not as helpful

This was incredibly helpful. Thank you! I’m going to Ft. Lauderdale on Jan. 11th, 2020, but I’ve booked the Brightline into Miami on Jan. 13th. I’m not coming from MIA, but I was curious about the Metrobus and the Metromover. Your video helped a lot with understanding how the Easy pass works. It’s looks similar to NYC’s metro pass, where the card must be purchased and then loaded as needed with the choice of fares.

The county transit payment system has been updated so you can just tap your debit or credit card with the digital wallet also working

can I ask q question, and it will sound idiotic. 😆 I did this a few months ago, and when it was time to leave, I came back from the Lincoln rd mall bus stop, back to the airport. I got on the ground level elevator to the 3rd floor. I remember that part. But for the life of me, I cannot remember getting on the MIA mover. It's only logical that you have to take it back to the main airport, right- Doing it in reverse. I only did this once and its bugging me! Yes I take a lot of pain meds but thats another story🥴😭 Thank you in advance

Hey Jordan 👋🏽 we loaded cash on our card and it worked for any Miami transit area metrobus or metro rail train. The mover will give you a free ride through different parts of the airport. I live in Miami. You really need a car visiting here if you are coming to go to the beach, outlets and visit around. If you will stay in one area only ok....use the public transportation but be aware, this is not NY, we do not have subways that take you everywhere :) I watched the video bcause I want to learn ways to get to the airport from my house without my car, in case I travel and I dont want to pay 30box to an uber or 100 in airport's parking if I travel for a couple days. Thank u for the vid guys

Thanks for watching Mon! You’re spot on - Miami doesn’t have the public transport as NY, DC, London, or even Paris. A car 🚗 (or at least an ride-sharing app) is needed a majority of the time!

I know you're on a budget. But you're walking a long distance with bags and having to take the Mover and then the bus. Lyft from the airport directly to your hotel in South Beach will cost you $20 for both people. You don't have to Lug your bags walking you can just get in the car and 20 minutes later you are at your hotel exactly how much money did you save? As well as your safety you can slip and fall or you can get mugged it can happen. If there's more than one of you. An Uber or lift is the way to go with bags to and from the airport
