You can use bloodhound step (which you get from killing the night cavalry in caild) and it makes running from the enemies so much easier

I found getting through this area (especially the platforming part) about as hard and infuriating as the tower of madness. As much as both annoyed me, I kind of love how the places / things surrounding the frenzied flame in one way or another make you feel like you're going mad in real life too. I straight up had nightmares about the tower of madness after almost 2 hours of trying to get through it lmao

@@MrLeroyFox If you progress and break the floor after you find the item, there will be a door. Take your clothes off and then open the door. After the scene you will have glowing eyes

It's taking me longer to get down the shaft 5:23 than it did getting to it. I'm already on my third root beer since I started the shaft. I have always hated platforming. \o/ Got it. I'd say I died 150 times. Hope it was worth it.

@@Rulfio Just go further on and you should find it. You have to beat Mohg the Omen, then hit the wall behind his chest. And then continue along the path and at the next site of grace you can also find the 2 illusory walls, the first one hiding a chest, and the second one is behind the chest hiding Deeproot depths.

Used the Assassin's inscription and no equipment to lighten fall damage. On last attempt missed a jump but survived by landing on a lower spot, and then it was one more drop to get the item. Thanks!!

this rout is flawed with invisible wall touches, not to mention the jump against a stone to get on the one below. Easier: on the last wood, walk (not drop) downwards to the left corner of the stone plateau, drop carefully, roll once or twice and you're there as well. Did it twice in a row without failure like that while having spent 50 tries or so this path for one success

I bet the grace site that appears after you beat him gave it away. Why else would there be a grace all the way down THAT deep in the dungeon? Usually instead it’s a blue one that brings you back to the start of the dungeon. Another grace spot appearing only means there must be more ahead that you may need to respawn back there for.

there is an enemy sitting there you have to attack him so he wakes up, then you hit him at the tent, and you can get a message explaining the cure from the frenzied flame
