First, the link here IS NOT what I'm about to mention.... but the mods from steam workshop are far safer. A buddy of mine downloaded one of these "cheat engines" for Civ 6 and quickly found out that it wasn't designed for Civ 6 or any game at all. Grammar and spelling errors are a dead giveaway enough, but the files are not safe.
Its almost been half a year since the video uploaded. I really don't know if the cheat engine changed ownership / got its file with bugs since than. Cheat engine is a software made for many different games such as changing values in game like health , Usage and gamma values so I wouldn't say its specifically made for CIV 6 and usually downloading modes are a preferably the way for Steam users. However chunk of its player base is also off from cracked versions (cannot afford the game) and even other game shop such as "Epic Games" these users cannot directly contact the steam workshop and get Mods that gives you quote on quote "God Abilities" so in my opinion cheat engine is still the way to go if you are using alternative version from Steam and what not.
Hello, there is now a mod on steam workshop that provides this feature. However, if you are on a cracked version, The procedures would be exactly same. I recommend downloading previous versions like the one mentioned in the link.
