It's not a proper Mario game without at least one stage where you can quickly grind out near-infinite extra lives with relative ease! ;-) Top-notch tutorial as always!
This is NOT an easy trick. I've been trying for a while, it's really hard to not land on the side of a shell and send it into all the other shells. Even with the parachute badge it's tough

EASIER WAY 1. play as yoshi and go to a level with a pushable pipe (1-3 worked for me but you can do it anywhere with the same conditions) 2. push the pipe close to a wall and throw a koopa shell in the open space 3. before you touch the ground (while the shell isn't bouncing) flutter so you'll make the shell move you can get 3 1-ups per second doing this update: silhouette stage with the springs AT THE VERY END while using the ! block badge you can kick a shell and do the normal 1-up trick

Just got my copy today. So far managed to keep myself spoiler free (as much as I can) bur from the looks of this video , I think Im in for a grand adventure!! And I love it!!!
Easy my foot, this is nearly impossible timing, and if you make one mistake, it kills all the koopas. I tried this several times and never even got to get a single 1up.
the concept is that you can gather an infinite amount of lives by using the method, not that the amount of lives you will have is actually infinite. hope this helps!
