Hey Aarya ! Its Khushi here I'm from Mumbai , India and I will be starting my 9th grade soon . Im from the IB board and I will be starting my igcse soon . My four crucial years are about to begin and I would love that someone like you who is so talented and a student at Wharton would help me through this journey so I take all the right steps and pave the way to Wharton : ) therefore I would love you to make videos for our guidence , congrats and thank you ! looking forward to your reply : )
Love the video. Thank you! Like you, I played a sport my freshman year and as of now, going into sophomore year I’m also going to be playing that sport. In reality, I hate it. My parents have that idea of me being “well rounded”. I really want to quit, but I’m not sure how that would play out. Any advice? If not, that’s ok lol. Thank you! I love your videos they’re so helpful!!
hi this is very late but! You should quit if you're unhappy with it. You should do what you like, and well rounded can mean anything- you don't to take THOUSANDS of clubs to be considered well rounded! My advice is you should quit your sport or at least stop playing it as competitive if you are- and instead join a club you are really into and become good at it! If your parents do not understand, try and convince them you would rather quit now rather than be unhappy with the sport for the rest of your high school career, and that you promise to look into other clubs. Good luck! I believe in you.
lmao same, its too late to back out now for me haha. most of them is also not 'ivy league standard' also, the furthest I have got is like third-place district competition lol
Hello, Mam That was a very informative video. i want to get scholarship in BS English. could you help me to suggest me some extracurricular activities.Thank you
How did you not get into Yale???? I have seen people with your extracurriculars but got into Yale and other ivys. College admission process is so confusing
Yes, but do not disregard having good extracurriculars. Good academics alone won't make you stand out to an ivy league college. Everyone applying will have them. What gets people accepted is proving that they have passion for their field. Extracurriculars are how they do that. Make sure you have very good grades and test scores, but don't focus all your efforts into completely perfecting your academics. Focus on proving you are passionate and dedicated to your major.
