Ive done a few solo 10-14 days for elk in Colorado. Looks like its spring bear in Idaho by myself this year🤷‍♂️. Ryan is right, your mind plays tricks. Im taking a soccer ball this year, Wilson is a good dude.

He sounds like it. Be sure to include him in the picture with the bear you get, lol. Good luck man! Spring bear is the best.

Always start a fight with your old lady before you leave so you have an excuse to not come home. I got this advice from a older fella so you know it’s good advice

I solo hunt in Montana and everything he said is true. I have never pushed it past 4 days, and I do get some anxiety. Only time I get scared is when the other predators zero in on my location. Hearing a Wolf bust a howl 75 yds from camp in the middle of the night will do it to just about anyone, I suspect.

Oh man. Wolves do it for me for sure. Had a pack of about 9 walk into an area we were glassing a few years back. 400 yards from us. The woods got dead quiet right as they showed up. It's eerie, ha. Thanks for checking the show out!

Love hunting by myself or just being in the mountains in general. Learned to use as a disconnect/recharge for myself from the normal day wear and tear.

He sounds like he could be my brother.. Im a solo and have been since my dad passed many many yrs ago and at 60 plus, its my solace. I am more comfortable and tuned in when in the woods on the mountain then I am in town. Listening to the creatures doin their thing at night is icing on the cake...😉

I totally agree. Its really tough to explain in words to someone who hasn't experienced it. Thank you for watching, and sharing.
