Yess lol m8ne wasn't that bad but I had 8 kills at island spawn and 5 of then on the island lol Pony got another 4 kills as doom looming for ppl 😅 And then last person hid n died in storm I didn't even get to emote 😂
but it doesn't spawn in every game does it? And maybe thats because only 1 person per game gets to cap the flag 👀 And also not every lobby played = capped flag! some lobbies it wont even get captured
Yeah i played like 4-12 rounds every day since it came out and have'nt gotten it a single time which is an odd of about 13% that i have'nt gotten it yet
@@Yleexy update : I tried this absolute cargo cult way of this vid and at first tries I did first part perfectly but didn't even live to see island appear, then I did and normal island appeared but I was shot before I could land on it *THEN* I missed to go through the circle first time, climbed the mountain for launchpad and did it with second trie, then from furnace I landed on the roof atop Doom, took jetpack and shield. Almost killed if it wasn't for shield, but long story short in this game island DID appear AND I finally became Doom! Can't emote and can't swim he just flies over the water. All in all it really isn't worth the hustle, but I am good with finally closing this gestalt.
I’ve played over 30 games since the update came out Wednesday and haven’t gotten it once… great concept by epic but terrible execution; the spawn rate should be 40-50%
@@OSU23901 they could probably make it spawn earlier because its not that fun if u finally get the island after so long but then die getting it or get it and theres like 5 people left, thats like negligible game time with it, making it spawn earlier will make it better cos it'll be more challenging as doom because theres gonna be the whole lobby focusing you like in the thanos ltm in s4 ch1
Yeah, but that's only a 7% increase. That doesn't mean it should spawn every 2 games. I just tried what he did in the video, and I did get it. I hadn't gotten it a single time before, so there might be something to this that Epic isn't saying
@@notanactualpanda 12% is way better than 5% so idk what you mean, on paper you should see it at least 1 time every 10 games instead of 1 time out of every 20. In practice it won't turn out like that exactly but on average it should be close. The other day, whether they actually buffed the spawn rate beforehand or not, I got 2 doom island spawns within 5 games without doing anything in particular, it's just probability
You might be on to something because last night before this video was out, i claimed the island and got 2nd. Then next game the doom island spawned but i died, so you might be right
Epic fumbled big time with this doom island 😢 I've played since the island dropped and saw it 2 times, by the time the island spawns there where 12 people left😂
Yesterday I played for 4 hours straight trying to find this island and when I finally got it and claimed it I died😢 almost Broke My Controller after that😅
This adds around 15% more of a chance currently to get the doom island, it worked for me! Even if you die the other rounds AFTER capturing the flag, the next game you'll play that if you survive till the island spawns in, it may be Doom Island! (WORKED FOR ME)
YOU LIAR! IT DIDNT WORK! I just broke my TV. I just smashed my TV in front of 10 guests at my doom party because of this video being fake. My wife just took our crying kids and said they're all spending the week at a hotel. This doom island has ruined my life.
I got the doom island for the first time and played him. But ten crazy part is that I got it in the second match, so either it is a huge coincidence or I did something that caused to spawn again.
Well it’s a coincidence, but it also happen to me (before I knew about this) I was playing trios with my friends, we didn’t go the tower, but we captured Loot Island, sadly we lost the game. Next game I get on solos because they had to go to bed, I got the Isle of Doom, so I guess it’s true.
Yeah.. good theory, I like it, but we did win many games with island capped in a row, and no doom after. sadly. We also got dr. doom islands spawn twice in a row two seperate times now.. Think maybe I've seen it 6 times in total. Not winning it always. Tuff fights at the island xD Good video thou 👍👍
I tried this and it did work, so there might be something to it that Epic isn't talking about. Yes, the spawn rate did increase from 5% to 12% but that's only a 7% increase. That doesn't mean it should spawn in every other game, though. I had tried grinding the game to get it, but I didn't get it once, but as soon as I tried this it did work. I was really skeptical of this because what would cause this? Does it have something to do with the forge? We are presumably putting on a suit of armour. Armour is made in a forge, and you get the armour from a different version of loot island, so maybe something with the forge and loot island in tandem are causing this. Maybe we don't have to go through that specific window or even capture loot island to do this. Maybe we just have to be inside of the forge and step on loot island. I don't think it would be the first time Epic has done something that crosses over multiple games in this manner, but I can't name anything other than the tent from Chapter 3 which would let you put in any item and in a future game you would be able to pull that same item out of the tent and use it. I'm gonna test my theory that you don't have to capture loot island, and edit this comment once I've tested it
one duo captured it yesterday in my lobby. it was just my duo and them. i told my mate that we just leave. these bots caputured it and couldn't even try it lol.
Except you can get the Isle of Doom in bot lobbies as well. Anytime me and my friends mess around in bot lobbies, we ALWAYS capture island for the loot it gives, and I always first land at the forge in Castle Doom because I like the DoomBots siphon medallion and Arcane Gloves, and landing at the forge is just the best for rotating around the castle to get the other Doom Chests. And guess what? We’ve only ever gotten the Isle of Doom ONCE in over like 20 matches, despite unintentionally doing your little guide here pretty much every match.
I capture it in solo build.. just when it spawn just go in the center make a box around you with hard metal thing and wait bro I did it like that with 15 people left 😂😂
Guys realistically we have to keep this video as secret as much as possible so only we know it That way it will be easier to capture the island in the first game
Me and my friend always capture the island(gives us some more fights usually), and we won 4 times in a row capturing the island each time and not once was it the doom island. Funnily enough we both put on the doom skin and got a victory von doom that same game😂
I think this works because I was in a game with my friends and we ended up getting the normal island, we claimed it then preceded to win the game our next game the island spawned but we unfourtnatly died. RIP
@@Jayden-ep4xo maybe you just got lucky or I did it wrong or it only buffs your chances but it didn’t work for me. Also did it work for you over the weekend cause the spawn rate was buffed over the weekend
Just did this got it just like you said. The first part isn't necessary at least i dont think so. I did go to castle doom in my first match but i didnt land there. Capture the island in match one, go there match 2 its doom island or at least a much higher chance. Thanks i never thought Id be able to do this
The odds where upped to 12% you obviously don’t understand how odds work, this means 1/8 but this is accross every game, so every game has a 1/8 chance. It doesn’t stack.
Is it a coincidence or he is capping because I saw a lot of videos saying that if you were on Oceana servers, it would be every two games because it’s a 40% chance
I got the island two games in a row and only played like 10 games and my gf said “it must not be that rare” 😂 (lost the first one but I got that Mfer the second game)
