Thanks for watching! *A lot of you seem to be confused about Lily-of-the-Valley vs Jacob's Ladder (**00:08**), listen up:* Yes, IRL they're different flowers. In the Animal Crossing Series Historically, the flower that grows in a perfect town has been referred to as Jacob's Ladder and may have looked slightly different than it does in New Horizons - It's still the same concept. I've been playing Animal Crossing for over 19 years, call me old-school. 😅 Also, for those of you griping on the smaller intricacies about the 30-day experiment, please feel free to host your own experiment and see if you can improve upon the data. After spending over 10 hours on this single video, I won't be conducting any other experiments with flowers for a long time.

Is it possible that just having the flower on the island increases the chance of growing hybrids? Another theory is that the flower has a larger growth bonus radius. I noticed that a lot of the flowers from control group were on the side closest to the test group.

Bee I found out that mine was a five star today. First I saw that the flower sprouted, then I went to Isabelle. So no, you do not need to talk to her so that it can sprout. It will sprout on its own.

I wish they were pick-able. Having wreaths or crowns or furniture you could make with them would be the biggest flex and also a fun addition to the game. As they are theyre basically just decor. You can interact with the other flowers which makes them feel more special.

Dolphiniz It's worth noting that you need to have a 5 star island evaluation at least once to get the golden watering can recipe. So if you want that, it has to be done, but you can totally go back to what you had in mind after that.

Hi, I have a 4 star island and i have Lily-of-the-valleys growing. It doesnt require 5 stars. I dont know what it requires, but it's only on the third level of my island that they spawn. People just havent figured out what it actually takes yet and still think 5 star is the only way.

Those flowed arent Jacob's Ladders though. That was just a mistranslation that wasn't fixed until HHA. These flowers are actually Lily-of-the-valley. Jacob's Ladders look completely different irl.

JinsanSama I think you’re the one that doesn’t know. There’s over a dozen videos explaining you can get the flower without getting 5 stars. It’s a glitch. Usually the next couple of days Isabelle will them give you 5 stars without even changing anything.

That means you were five stars at some point. You can actually degrade down if you clutter up your island or or remove a lot of decorations or something. The LotV spawned on my island, I went to Isabelle, she said I was 4 and told me to clean up clutter. I went and literally picked up a can, a boot (that I was hoping would spawn a fly) and two DIY cards in a stall, went back, and I was five star.

I literally hit 5-star during the middle of heavy terrafoaming. I assumed my island is stuck at 2-star and checked in with Isabelle for fun and she told me it's at 4-star and the only thing I have to fix is to reduce the amount of dropped items. I cleaned up all the extra DIY's and immediately hit 5-star, got the gold watering can and woke up to lily of the valley in front of the empty space where I've reserved for my house. lol...I didn't count trees, did some minimum decorating with crafted items and stuff I've acquired from the balloons, and breeding hybrid flowers in a 12x12 area.

Tips on how to get 5 stars 🙂 1. Place furniture (trash, clothes ( maybe insects, fish placed down?) 2. If you get the traffic hazard issue, check your whole entire island if furniture,clothes,bugs & fish are clumped together, try to get rid of it by separating them by 1 line 3. Pick up every item that is dropped on the ground, if you have 15 items on the ground. 4. Have 250 bloomed flowers, 110 fully grown trees (10 fully grown bamboo thickets.) 5. Place 50-60 DIY crafted furniture Place 20-25 pieces of furniture bought with Nook Miles. Place 40-50 pieces of furnitue purchased with bells. **The ones with brackets do not need to be concluded**

It's not hard at all to have a 5-star island. It's all about the percentage of used space, it doesn't matter what you place on your island. With that said, you don't have to go crazy like some people do, covering every single inch of land. Mine is fairly simple and it's a 5 star.

Not Astra Your island was 5 star and you didn’t knew. It takes days *after* it becomes 5 star for lily of the valley to appear. You probably placed way more decoration on those last few days than needed.

You would not believe my level of excitement when I saw this video after just finding out TODAY that they started growing on my island. I was goofing around with a friend and he asked me about a random flower that was growing on a cliff, which had originally been empty except for some trees and a couple bushes. I was confused, and then I saw this video and realized what it meant. I felt like an absolute king when I realized what that flower was.

Over 150 hours in and I’ve yet to see apples peaches or pears or roses or etc etc so Lilly of the valley I’m not holding me breathe! Love the channel just subbed!!

you won't unless you travel to other peoples islands and trade, if you don't go online you'll only ever be able to get 3 types of flower from nooks which grow on your island plus a hybrid flower from a mystery island - and 2 types of fruit trees, your native fruit and 1 other, again from a mystery island with nook miles ticket. I didn't get the extra fruit and flowers until i started playing online and visiting other people. If you haven't got irl friends playing it there are tons of facebook groups for trading and friends 👍

Lol! I only discover my Iland is already 5 star when I saw the lilly of the valley in my flower beds! So I immedieatly talk to Isabelle to check my star just to be sure! Thanks to your video I would not know that flower exist! And you have to be 5 star Iland!

A lily of the valley popped up on a cliff top I didn’t pay attention to, but I only have a 4 star island and have never reached 5 star. Only one of them tho, they don’t seem to duplicate

Not sure if someone has mentioned this or not but my Lilly of the valley flowers do not seem to require me to log in daily. I’ve been 5 start since Sunday morning and I’ve jumped around like crazy and have 3 now. I have not gone day by day at all and I. So e cases just jumped a full week and a new one was there
