Here's my two cents based on my years of experience breeding. Focus on getting one horse (any color) with a long mane first. Once you have it start breeding for popular coat colors. That way you will have a higher chance of breeding a rare color WITH a long mane included without having to spend even more cash (horses with rare colors are expensive and if they have long manes too they will cost twice as much). If your horse has a long mane, then you can focus on any horse as long as it has a rare coat and good stats. The mane style will have a chance to drop because YOUR horse has it, so it's not important if the other horse has it.
genetics (those green or blue arrow) do matter. If, for example, a horse with one star coat (which usually have arrows pointing up - red and orange) is breed with a three star coat ( green or blue arrows) it is more likely, that the foal will get a one star coat, after the parent with an arrow pointing up. in short, the arrows indicate, like the lineage, the chances of your horse inheriting the coat
Yes that's fair but the reason why I said it doesn't matter is because if your always breeding two 3 star coats together (blacks with blacks as you will want a 9+) the arrow will always be either green or blue. And people shouldn't have that stop them because it will always be that yk
At this point in speed MOST will make money if they're over 85 speed, not a lot but they do. I've only ever bred speed (no specific coat, just CC) and even my fails (shit coat, long/med) will make me about 80-140k after being up for the full amount of time. On average anything about 90 speed should get you about 100-350k+. Speed is kind of a dying thing and there's a select group of people who breed them. I managed to get a (black mane) CC overo with 98 speed and he's made me well over 500k+. People who breed speed will usually go for stats rather than looks, but looks will help tremendously. Also, register your horses in the morning! (At least for speed) PST - 5am to 9am is the ideal time and when my horses get the most breeds. Or, super late before the rush of people log on.
I registered a chestnut stockings with 96 points on speed - and got 22 breedings! So i think when you're registering speed horses, you can still make a good amount of money with very good stats and without a nice coat
For how much carrots did u sign it Up? I signed up my first horse for breeding after a long time of not playing and it was also used 22 Times but I only Made it cost 10000 because though very pretty, the stats werent very great. Is that okay? Sorry for long text, I am breeding noob.
if you want a good horse with good liniege then breed with 0 hearts (firts page horses when filtered), they will give you a foal every 100k (or even multiple) and its almost always gonna have good mane and tail and stats. then breed the shit out of it and repeat.
I was wondering if I should switch to breeding control horses. Since you said they make more money, I might want to switch over. Since I don’t like playing magic I only have speed horses. How could I get a control horse without their stats being spilt? Edit: I switched to control since I started playing magic and liked it, now I’m breeding a lot and am trying to build up carrots. I normally have about 150k
you can buy a shop horse thats control, although thatll mean youll have to start over with your +9 line, youll be able to get control horses without having splits
I switched from control to speed horses, what I did was just breed my control horses with speed horses and have the stats be split, then with those split horses just keep breeding with the stat you want and you should be getting that stat overall. Idk if this is the best option tho but it worked for me🧍🏾♀️
@sqeeaze that's a faster way when you try for a +9 lineage, yeah. Going with a horse from the shop will just make you lose lots of carrots for the perfect lineage and perfect stats
tysm for the video! i tryed to breed 2 blacks after this, my was a full curly good stat black +9 and the other one was a black +9 but it was very short hair, idk what was the tail, but first try i got a 92 control +9 long hair and long curly tail horse (grey hair) tyyyyy
I made MAD money on overos, like 2 mil in 2 weeks, starting out of 200k, id highly reccomend this coat if u starting out, cause they re 2 stars and are easier to get :>
but then you could just put 100x100 in the name right? even if they have no potencial, so how do I know I dont get scammed when breeding for potencial?
they made a update recently, you can check by clicking the right mouse button on the horse you want to breed with. It will show you the weight, height and potential lvl of the horse.
hey ik this vid is kinda old nowbut does anyone knows what the best/optimal compensation for breeding is?? like how much money should you get so the tax is the lowest and you get the most money if you put the horse up for breeding again, has anyone calculated that maybe?
They are talking about the horses lineage. CCxCC means that its parents were both full curly horses. Also if you see FLxFL or LLxLL means that the parents were full long maned horses
There are no viruses in the ao download from the official website. You computer might say the download is unsafe but the only reason it says this is because it's not licensed. Ao is not run by an official compny making the game have no official license
