When we were trying this we weren't able to get the networking to work on VirtualBox. Perhaps a newer version of VirtualBox would work better.

Do you know how to connect a mininet host to mysql? I can get access to mysql from a mininet host, but when I run a program inside the mininet host and the program cannot connect to the mysql.

It works what Exactly I am looknig. But when I open firefox from hosts, the internet in forefox don't work, i need to run youtube in firefox

We've had some problems getting VirtualBox networking to work correctly. Perhaps they solved the problem by now. If VirtualBox works for you, could you leave a comment about it being a viable alternative?
