I finally cracked the 3,000 public hour mark. December 7th will mark 1 year since posting first video on RU-vid. What a journey it has been. I have felt my channel was dead hundreds of times, keep at it everyone!
I used to get 2-5 views only on my YT shorts. As soon as I uploaded my 35th short, it went viral like crazy, got like 30k views in a few hours. Then, a few days later all the ones that were at 2-3 blew up in the few thousands of views. The key to success as a creator is to never give up and be consistent with high quality content
Facts bro consistency is key I have very little subs now but confident it will grow more and you just reassured me of that. Whe I started posting I was only gettin just as much 2-3,5 views zero like all of a sudden in the new posts I saw 2k+ 1k+ then I realized the future holds something great
The worst feeling as a content creator is wake up, and see nothing on your channel has changed, i wanted to give up hundreds of times, but i am still standing 💪
This what worked for me. i got me a Monetized youtube channel with over 20k from viral npc marketplace (it is now 30K) and im now earning like an old youtuber. This what majority of the people do now im trying to share my experience :) Btw good video btw
I been on RU-vid for 2 months . Nobody really watches my videos but people watch my shorts . At first I thought RU-vid was gonna be hard but once you figure out the algorithm. Your channel goes up
Dude don't complain about it you don't even make thumbnails and you don't edit you can even be grateful 2k subs for someone who do 0 edits and thumbnails is actually good
Like I do zero edit. I just cut on every video I make few seconds of the beginning and the end of video I put in fade in and fade out and thumbnails is making some other person for me. I just use very, very little of editing, but I do put my time in naming video, adding hashtags and description. I use very cheap 50 dollar red dragon camera and I have over 13k subs and 3.5 million views. My most viewed reaction video is 330k views. Take into consideration I didn't do any videos in almost 8 months. I just started again :D@@Ecto1777
Thank you, I've learned a lot from your video. I'm a new RU-vid content creator. It can be hard and overwhelming at times but I will get to my destination. 😊
Whoever is reading DONT give up on your channel. Think about all the hard work that you have already put in. Every youtuber was once in your spot they just kept going. Stay consistent and you will reach your goals. consistent uploads and improvement and some determination is all you need! I am going for 275 subs by the end of November!!!
My question is whether after 90 days you’re view count and subscriber count gets reset for youtube shorts? Ie, if you dont hit those metrics, do you get another 90 days to try it, etc etc
QUESTION😅: so I have a RU-vid channel that is not monetized. I wanted to promote my new channel on the "non monetized" one. Are there any rules against doing that?
RU-vid is making it harder and far far worse to make money from your efforts but they get paid all the same. No wonder people are contemplating leaving
i started this channel on 27 August and its 25th sept & its growing wild. its right now on 190 subscribers & 1600hours watch our and everything going above. I just pray it gets monetized
If you upload a short of results for example lotto that you watch also here on RU-vid, can it pass for monetization or not? cause I am on the point of deciding to change contents on my channel. Thank you
I currently have a trucking channel with almost 6000 subs and it’s monetized. I’m not doing trucking anymore so don’t have content to post. I started a cooking channel but idk if I should use the trucking channel and just change the name or just keep going with this brand new one. Please advice
Yeah I’m ticked off about that since I’ve been getting steady views, but I’m also thinking about doing long form content as well so I can have a chance at breaking in one way or another
@@KennaRBLX 100k views on 3 months on shorts is easy as hell dude not forgetting people that do long form content usually get monotised at 200k views so nah if it is 100k views then everyone would start doing shorts
I started my channel years ago closing in on 10k currently says i have 6000 shorts watch hours but when i go to check monitization it says i only have 700 im confused...
It’s worth mentioning once you reach the required subs and watch time, you have to maintain them numbers. If your watch time goes back below the recommended hours you’ll lose your monetization
I’m fully monetized currently but the real question is making videos, shirts, etc. that would make people want to watch/buy them I usually get a few thousand views per every video I post on RU-vid shorts which leads to me making maybe a few cents per video. I’m also a little bit controversial as I’ve been banned from multiple sites as well as places in real life in the past which means that I need to be very careful not to get demonetized.
does it count as strike when i had videos with a yellow triangle cause of copyright (used music which i shouldnt have used) long time since i had the issue tho because now i check the music first!
@@justsomeguythatisaslime122(to my knowledge) if you have a 1 hour vid - and 10 people watch it - that is 10 hours watch time What you said assumes only one person watches you
What if my videos before I monetize my videos have copyright on them. Can I just make profit from my new videos that I make afterwards that don't break any rules?
I’ve gotten almost 3000 subs in 2 months.. but the watch hours is hard af. im only around 700 watch hours but 3000 subs. keep working y’all it will work out soon 🚀
@@finleymaster101 mahalo. I accidentally used a song that was registered for a student.. I immediately got rid of it. This for info . Keep up good work
