The problem for me here Joe is i am from Pakistan - If i find out such local businesses and offer them my services then they are either going to pay me peanuts(1/10th of international clients) or decline buying my services at all(which is most likely in case of a 3rd world country like Pakistan).
@@thamastersmooth Precisely because of the issue I stated above : Devs from India and Pakistan don't want to work for local clients. They would rather work for international clients and get paid in USD than work for locals and get paid in peanuts.

How about contracts? Half or one-third of the cost paid up front and the rest paid once the work is finished? Milestones? Will the client provide the content for you to put on their site? I've found out that without these things in place, clients can BS you and waste your time.
That's something you have to decide on your own. Yes there's alot of people who bs but then there's also serious people. Of course don't do any work without 1/2 the money also you need to set deadlines that you and the client can meet. If the client loses interest by the time you have 1/2 the work done you stop working on it till they get back to you. And make it clear to them what they are going to get. As far as content right now images and copy is cheap add that to your total price and keep the difference.
@@CodingPhase Thanks for replying. I forgot to mention scope creep. Yes, if you get 1/2 the money up front, then if they lose interest you will still have gotten paid something. In the video you mentioned Midjourney, but a good free option is Leonardo AI. You're right about content. One could get that from ChatGPT. I did a short course on Udemy where I used it to generate some blurbs for the items, in this case, cocktail drinks.
Always try to get $1000+ for any site. But first get social proof. Talk to the business owners and see what their budget is. Some might just have 200-500 and if you have no clients or testimonials I would say do it. Then once you have 2-3 clients you built their up the price to the following clients $1000+
@@CodingPhase A week ago after sending 100 emails nobody was interested. I was giving them a starting price of 150£. I called 10 numbers they didn’t care even to listen, to have a cheap and nice website. Freelancing is way harder than coding 😂😂
