@@Thugjedi999 I guess my Change of Direction isn't good enough yet or something bc when I play inside, the QB targets my receiver but by the time I get back into position the ball (and receiver) are already way past me. Do I just have to play back a little further?

@@Thugjedi999 and additionally, when that happens and I press triangle to play the ball my player doesn't even react, no jump or any animation to speak of, not even an out of reach one.

Play back the video and see how far back I’m playing and how I’m baiting the QB and try to do the same. Just go back a little further by the sounds of things!

@noahWaters-d5o I was hoping somebody would notice. FLICK THE RIGHT THUMBSTICK UP. You gotta do it really quick. Just mess with the thumb sticks. Be careful, I got beat a few times just because I was paying to much attention to my animations 🤣 😂🤣😂

I tried subbing my player in at returner and it doesn’t allow it this year for kick returns or punt returns. Kinda a let down, I loved being able to return punts in career mode in Madden 24 but I guess not this year!
