The low ECU setup is more profficient for Street X. Considerating you won´t never each highspeeds on those short tracks, what you need is the most accel as possible because you would be playing with short shifts after all. For drifts it could help for cars with low RPM.
I would rather shorten the gears and keep my tune up high... Because having the power down low will be a waist because that means you always need to be a gear higher than supposed to, to avoid going out of power but your already down on power as your RPM's is low. So short gears which will make your car accelerate faster snd the tune on top
I agree, I mean if they kept it in each gsme they could have added so much more to it where we could have done waaaaaay more than 20 years ago. It would have been so awesome :(
Too complicated for most typical gamer who likes to just sit and play. That's why they simplified it on MW05, probably because people didn't bother using it back then.
This game is what made me like to learn to work as a mechanic never remebered all that tuning could be made 😂 reinstalled it a couple of hours ago and having a blast , im still geting around the tuning stuff in game and irl
Ahhhh damn lol! We both have almost the same story haha. I also like my cars because of this game lol me and my friend used to imagine we where in the cars we built on U2 and after school we used to drift the hall ways lolololol I also have a car channel and also tuning myself :)

I finished this game more than 4 times since i was a kid till now but i never knew about this dyno thing Now, i.m playing again, just for fun and for some nostalgia that hit me. I.m somewhere around the 2nd URL in the game and the game difficulty it.s on hard and i just cant keep up with the opponents. I have a nissan 240sx, the grey one you get in the beggining. 1st stage on the performance shop, without turbo. They just smash me, the car can.t keep up, and i modified all the dyno for url. It.s just impossible Any advice?
I also play on Hard... It is so difficult 🤣 drive like a go cart, take the corner wide if you go into it and come out on the short side. Also move your gear ratio all the way to acceleration

Why does my 0-60 and 0-100 times worsen? Also my top speed was unaffected? Great vid tho just wondering, im more focused on circuit racing rather than drag
That is very weird, they should not worsen as you will have more power on the higher rpm's. How do you calculate your 0-100? Maybe try it on a other car and see what it does. Even when doing the Dyno you can see the kw and nm power gains
@@TheOverclockOk i started over from scratch and only did ecu and turbo the way u did and it made my 0-60 and 0-100 slower. On yours the 0-60 got a little slower too but your 0-100 was better. My car isnt maxed or anything so it wont make as much of a difference but it seems it might be better not tuning it early game...

why are your graph lines there but not mine ? just started to play this game, also loved the graph lines back then , but now with the widesreenfix, i dont see them, but without widesreen fix, the game is like crashing.
bro , why my skyline cant get more than 210 KM/H even all performance shop is already MAX, now im stuck in stage 5 , no more mission but i cant reach Stage 6
Most of the time when you cant go to the next stage it is because your cars looks haven't reached a certain star, so you need to customize your cars looks and install newer bumpers and etc

You can set the throttle and brake in NFSMW2005, but how to fix vertical scrolling in NFSU and NFSU2 using x360ce or Fanatec? Setting the pedals as combined ones only fixes the driving issue.
try controller. Sim Racing Gear support is not very good. And don't forget to set the refresh rate of your monitor to 60Hz. Much more comfortable to shift through the gears this way.

@@TheOverclock I tried them and it seems like my settings were already very similar to this. For a Skyline would a 1st and 2nd gear top speed of 60 and 100 be best or about 38, 77 and 110 or 1st 2nd and 3rd? I want great acceleration but also good power after 100mph.
It is hard to say as it is something I will need to try out. NFS U2 cars love shorter gears. So tge shorter the better! Just stretch out some of the gears after 3d sothat it can help a bit with top end but not to aggressive as you haddly use all your top end speed in every race! It is better to be able to go to 130mph than 200mph... Your car will be very sluggish
When I played the game on Hard, I also started to struggle, I had to go deep into the tuning and my driving skills to start winning haha. But you will getvit right 🥳

No, you can use this in all off them because initially its for more power... But you see the only difference is whem you do circuit or sprints you might find yourself in less RPM's so that means if you push all the power to the higher RPM's and you drop your revs out of that range in the circuit or sprint you will be under power until you get your RPM's up again. Hope it makes sence
Unfortunately not 😭 the only other way is to work on gear ratios to get your lap times better! I have a video on how to tune your car for circuit and it is also informative... Then also how to get a better steeing ratio video :)
