Hey girl, well I always take tips from your videos so much great info for new creators. Making a playlist & using your live content to hit your 4000 watch hrs. Thank you for always sharing this info with all of us:)
Hey there my YT friend!! The top tip I am taking away from this is to include chapters. That was something I haven’t thought about and it makes so much more sense. Also, removing the Outro is kind of smart because of the expectation of the video ending. Some of the most viewed videos don’t have one so I’ll be sure to take that in consideration. I greatly appreciate you In Essence💜🙏🏽
She is a natural leader, seems she has been destined to lead. Her confidence and calm is so attractive. We need to share her videos not just like & subscribe
All great tips right here. On a personal note. I stopped making shorts about 8 months ago and noticed a drastic change in watchtime hours. And I watch other videos from beginning to end , cause i understand the content creating process. 🙏🏽 for the great info!
Yes!!!! I needed this. I try to post twice a week, because I work full time. I haven’t been putting content out for about a couple weeks now. My brother transitioned April 15th and his memorial is this Saturday. So I haven’t been able to do anything. But I’m going to take my notes on this. Because this is very helpful information. Thank you so much for sharing. I definitely need all the help I can get. Take care🌷
I created a kids channel following your last tutorial, I’m enjoying the process so far but I feel like the niche is saturated and it’s had for others videos to be seen.
Hedy! I get it, I felt like that too, and that's why I almost never created mine, but I'm glad I took the chance because it led me here, you never know 💜
As a small RU-vidr, your tips are very helpful. I will DEFINITELY put them into practice. ❤ My watch hours are killing me. I do cooking videos but now I am breaking out into vlogging. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! I like your content so now I’m a sub and fan as well
At the moment I'm concentrating on shorts because those do seem to be bringing in subscribers. I noticed at 500 subscribers my shorts views leapt from between 20 and 60 to about 420. I'll have to see what happens at 1,000. Once I'm past the 1,000 I'll probably switch to long format and more planned long format videos where I introduce the topic then expand on it before coming to a conclusion while trying to keep it at about 5 - 8 minutes.
One thing again, please If I try to post a picture, RU-vid says I should do two step verification but when I do it with my phone number it gives me no code and I don’t know what to do
Thank you for sharing these tips. Speaking in front of the camera seems so hard for me to even get started. I’ve only done shorts with music thus far. 💛
It just takes a little practice, you just sit down in front of it and talk to "somebody" lol You can always use nails as the focus though since that's what you do, I just subscribed to you 💜
2:06 mark was something I did not know… When I achieved all my watch time hours, I started doing more shorts, I noticed my watch hours had went down significantly. I’m so happy I subscribed to your channel. Thank you.
Great idea, I will definitely work on that for you! But do know that every video you currently see on my channel has been done with my phone (Galaxy S22), so don't be afraid to get started with what you've got! 😊
Everything you say makes a lot of sense, as always. 😊 My biggest goal right now would be focusing on the videos. I feel like my videos are not connecting with each other.
Thank you so much for sharing! I’m already halfway towards my watch hours yet struggle to get subscribers. I thought it would be more difficult to gain watch hours but that’s not true in my case. The most people watch on average is 4 minutes on my analytics so I keep my videos less than half an hour.
Thank You for your videos. and sharing your fir paycheck income from youtube. I started my channel on 4 April 2024. As of Today it has 155 watch hours with 52 subs. With the most popular video getting 4.2k views. Thank you for the good content. You sharing your results gives me hope and has helped me greatly.
Hi! So I've read that you can do it about once or twice on a video, then they won't count it after that. I'm still looking for an official answer from RU-vid though, I'll update you if I ever get one 😊
This video series has been so helpful and inspirational for me. I’m considering starting a channel about a medical condition I have. I just have a lot of fears about being on camera.
This is so helpful! I'm a (newer) blog and lifestyle subscriber, like you mentioned in your video. I have a lot to think about. Thanks so much for all your knowledge and tips!
Thanks so much for subscribing to my channel. 🎉 I probably need to watch out with my Outro. I tend to say thanks a lot through mine 😅 . I will work on that and my thumbnails for my next videos
Thank you for all the tips and tricks in all your videos! You've given me some great tips to take into consideration. Look forward to following your journey on here. ❤
Thank you .. just thinking about what you've said about shorts not counting for watch hours, .. funny thing is that I've tried to make a recipe type video and really struggled to make it into a short due to the amount of footage I wanted to use, anyway I did get down to under 60 seconds.. but when I downloaded from the editing suite it just kept corrupting!! Maybe it's not meant to be a short.. maybe that's a sign for me to make mostly longform 😊
Thanks for the tips! I started a kids channel after seeing your first video! I’m an educator and want to add other grade level learning videos. I’m hoping this works in conjunction with baby sensory. Again thanks for sharing
Thank you so much for all these tips! You inspired me to start my own sensory channel to add on to my online business where I sell teaching resources I create. I love how specific your tips are!
Hey! Thanks for another video, I was waiting for a new one! 😊 I have started a Kids Channel like you recommended and during my first 2-3 weeks it started picking up, I eventually got 1.5k on one video, then 500 and after that it started dying down. Now it doesn't matter what time or what type I upload, it gets 0 views and 3 reach 😢 Any ideas? 😢😢
Could be that some video subjects are more popular then others. Continue to try some different subjects to see what gets the most attention, what's the channel?
Love your tips, fellow newbie! My most recent video, I started with a tip you’d suggested with a clip before the intro music. I’m focusing on Amazon content now but I have plans to do more once I’m at my 1k goal :)
Am really haven't issues on my watch hour. My average duration is usually 2:11 minutes and now I don't get views it's been two years still haven't gotten 3,000 watch hours. Sometimes I feel like giving up at this point. What should I do ??
That's good that you know your average duration, that means viewers are starting to lose interest around that point. Maybe try switching up your intros or adding more pattern interrupters like music or words. Your thumbnails look pretty good. The RU-vid journey can be very discouraging at times, but keep experimenting and trying, I just subscribed to you 💜
Thank you very much for this video it’s very helpful and I learnt where I’m making mistakes. I will try to fix those and literally can’t wait to complete my watch hours 😅 ❤ Aicha
What a great video! very much needed :) being a gaming channel I know it can be tough cause gaming is very popular and always has been. The tip that I really need to work on is looking up the keywords, maybe adding chapters and pattern interrupters (if necessary). I hope you have a great day!
Hi In Essence. I was just scrolling through RU-vid,and I came across one of your videos about how much you got paid. And I am at the moment watching "How to get more watch hours" I just started my RU-vid channel and I have been posting 1 or 2 videos a day. I am really excited and looking forward to great results. I must say I have seen a lot of videos out there, but you are an absolute Gem so humble. I love how you explain everything in your videos so simple and very easy to understand without making things difficult or complicated. There are a lot of videos that are just clickbait, totally misleading. Thanks again for your information. May God bless you and your family, continued success in all your business. Much appreciated. Oh and I will definitely be watching more of your content!
Thank you so much! I taught elementary school for about 10 years 😁 Are you opposed to getting on screen? Maybe showing some of the products that you have, or maybe creating a short trailer talking about your business.
@@InEssence. Thanks baby girl, I am building the muscle to get on screen but for sure i will do trailers about the latest and products as well as expose the selling angles of my trending bags. I really appreciate you.
So glad I found your channel. My blog subscribers requested video content...totally taking me out of my comfort zone. Your tips are so 'real world'...compared to some other channels I found. Thank you! ❤
Maybe it's time for a refresh, experiment with different intros, music, thumbnails, content subjects. It can sometimes be tough when you've had a channel for awhile so you have to find ways to gain new audience members. You can also try using the 'research' section in RU-vid studio, it helps give some insight on what your audience watches/searches so you can get a better idea of what they want to see. I watched some of your vlogs, I love your personality you're great on camera 😊
@@InEssence. omg THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I will work on all of this. I did recently change up the intro and music, and editing style too. I’ll keep trying new things until something works! Thanks for telling me about the research tool - I’ll get on that asap! And thanks for watching some of my vlogs - you are heaven sent and I’m so thankful!!! 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you so much for your videos I was so hesitant to start but really wanted to start one thank you for all that inside and advice I'm working on a blog channel slash DIY channel ,not sure what to call it but I appreciate your videos It has helped me to get started thank you 🥰
not gon lie..i’m still not understanding the whole watch hours thing but in short now i understand that the views may not necessarily take me to the promise land like i thought
Right, I didn't even know that info until I was chatting with a RU-vid representative so I had to make sure I shared it. I'm only focused on long form content, but I can tell you that I have made $.03 in total off of my shorts on this channel and they all have at least 1k views...so how much would it take for me to even make a dollar from them lol
Oh ok so this is your other page, I just subscribed! The more you learn the more you grow, you took the biggest step which is getting started, you got this.
@@InEssence. OH MY GOD! This entire time I thought I had to have a certain amount of followers! I just tested it out and it works. Thank you so much! 😊
Thanks ESSENCE i have stopped posting shorts for now and I am proud of how good I am at creating thumbnails since I began. Thanks for this I'll make longer videos
I have so much trouble staying consistent. I am very busy at the moment, but love creating videos. Your videos are inspiring tho, I watch during my breaks x
