I just love Lorenzo's character development in this. I think many people fail to understand that Lorenzo had been fed lies and fake rumors about Ruby all the time by his sister Freya who absolutely hates her, the poisoning incident only made this worse causing him to immediately believe that it must be ruby who poisoned Freya.

in the novel and in the manga there was really someone that wanted to know better our female lead? honestly i hate the male lead too bcs even if he wanted to protect her, he couldn’t tell her, or better, he didn’t had the “courage” to tell her, and she misunderstood, but it wasn’t her fault bcs everyone always misunderstood her so she doesn’t have any confidence.
