Congrats, Austin! I was also on the show, but much more recently. My show taped less than three months ago on July 28th (the very first day of taping in the new studio and the first studio audience in over three years due to the pandemic) and aired last week on Tuesday September 26th. And yes, I made it all the way through and won my Showcase. Some things have changed since your appearance, one of which makes everyone's chances of being on the show a bit better. Instead of 300+ people as it was at Television City, the new studio seats 176. Also, the audience is not sunken as it was before, it is at stage level, so it brings everyone a bit closer to the action and makes the show more exciting, in my opinion. The new studio is in L.A. on the border of Glendale, so it's fairly convenient from anywhere in the L.A. area, and now, unlike at CBS, there is free parking in a gated, supervised lot. The parking, audience check-in and holding area is a church (it looks like a big office building) next to the studio. The studio itself looks like a warehouse on the outside as it is a former distribution center for a retailer, but inside they did a great job capturing the show's original feel. Most of the game shows that used to tape at Television City now tape at Haven Studios, including Let's Make a Deal, Press Your Luck and Celebrity Family Feud. First, Congrats on your tremendous wins! I loved your video! It was excellent. I was on the show about ten years ago. Listening to you brought back my many memories of being on the show. I too prepped before taking the trip out to LA. I was ready and was going to give it my all. I was picked as a contestant before the 5th game and got up on stage right away. I wound up winning a car and five hundred dollars. I did not make it to the showcase. I can relate to every point you made. It was definitely a life changing experience for me too. @@leonardbrinkman4410 I won a 2009 Ford Focus. I still have it and will never part with it. After the show you go into an office and sign a contract with the show. The car was shipped to a Ford dealership near my home. It took 3 months to receive it.
So how much was the car worth and what did you sell it for? How long did you keep it? Do they ship it to you no matter where you live? How long after the show do you get it?
Oh hae Young man at least you won The Price is Right 6 years ago that was good but what I'm thinking is basically now that you did that you can have to pay the taxes on the stuff you've won? And what's so good about it is that basically it's way in now in that time October twenty-seventh twenty-seventeen you couldn't say anything about the show until it aired! And what about the car you picked up on the show did you have to go get it or did they bring it to you in a semi truck? Because at that time your neighbor could for probably wondering did you hit the lottery? But I'm pretty sure that they keep in contact with you every now and then to see if you're enjoying your prizes that you won.

Before COVID, you would literally find out when they would say your name to COME ON DOWN! I'm not sure how it is now, but I would assume you would get a call or email to come to the show
