Would this work for one of those low backed Tommy Bahama beach chairs? We use these in Hawaii, as it comes with the condo...not my fav. chairs to use, but that is what we have there...but they are so close to the ground...and hard to rise out of...

Those techniques are fine for an able bodied person but they don’t work worth a damm for a heavier disabled person.
