Keep in mind you can get this side quest from any space! You don't have to just find the secret outpost from the 2nd mission in Starfield.

the legendary stats are different everytime there not the same, reload game before opening case to get better stats

I got that secret outpost quest wile taking out a bounty target on another planet, so I think it's possible to get spacers to drop it randomly

in the same room with the armor their is a hexagon shaped chest with an epic weapon.

I found this mission in the first place that you start on. I did this by exploring the whole planet and that's where i found this mission. Also thanks for posting I will now go and get my third ship since i stole one from the pirates from the starter planet.

btw you can get better suit, helmet, and pack in the basement of the lodge. theres a mannequin. Its locked but if you look at the right angle you can take it anyways. I am 30 hours in and have yet to find better gear. IDK if it is patched or not tho

The drops are random… if you want the best gear for this it’s best to save and not quick save before getting the gear and the ship… this way you can cycle back as many times as you want… drops for weapons in the ship are random as well.

The weapons in the ship are random, you got super lucky to get a legendary shotgun. Mine didn't have that...

This was literally listed as "EARLY BETA". If you expect Perfection at the start, I ask what is wrong. Also, if you think Starfield is bad, I have two games that are pretty much full games, but feel like Betas... Their names are New Vegas, and the other is The Outer Worlds.

It’s preorder early access, people who preordered premium editions get to play like 5 days early. They also let a lot of creators play the game early in general, like mrmattyplays has been playing for like a week or so already but hasn’t made many videos about it since it’s not out for everyone else yet.
