Thank you for your video. I was accepted as a designer last month, and read this twice...but understood your explanation a little better. The only thing I haven't figured out is WHEN this money is paid for the month. I received a small payment at the end of June, and nothing but a few cents for purchased products since then. Do you know when they pay out for the monthly downloads? I emailed them and it still isn't clear to me.
I believe you need to reach at least $20 (I'm not sure) in your wallet in order for you to withdraw your money. Yes, at the beginning you will only increase by a few cents a day. CF doesn't have monthly payouts. You need to request your earnings from them. Then depending on what platform you use to withdraw your money, it can take up to 2 weeks to see your money in your bank account. CF does have payouts right away, once your reach your threshold amount, but you'll have to pay a percentage of your earnings to pay for the convenience of immediate payout. I go the longer route, because I want to keep as much of my money as I can. It will take time to gather an audience, but if you are consistent and persistent with your personal advertising on your social media for each product, you continue to upload high quality products consistently, and create attractive product thumbnails, you'll see improvement. I'm still getting cents a day, but the money is coming in more often and in a bit more larger sums. (like $1 or $2). You also need to find out what kinds of products people want. That is the key! Yes, I have earned some money. You don't get paid once a month, you're paid each time you make a sale, and yes, it will be pennies at first. But like my video explains you have to be patient, and go the long haul. The more quality you upload, and the more often you upload new products and market them on your social media and work toward building an audience, then you'll get paid more often and a little more in time. I found Pinterest to be my best resource for advertising my products. I've been on CF for 2 years, but I also have my own website that when I market my products I'm using my website URL instead of leading people to my CF. That way I get to keep all of my money, but this takes time. It takes time to build a business and an audience. What is the name of your CF shop? Wow.. that's super confusing the way they set up their payout system. But I do my graphic's as a hobby and just love creating them, so I guess its a win win for me. Etsy charges a fee now, and I've heard some sellers getting canned a week later and no refund, no explanation. Do you sell on Etsy?
I don't like Etsy, never have. I tried it a few times, but didn't like it. I know CF isn't the greatest for payment, but it's better than nothing, at least that's my thinking right now. The best of luck to you Jamie!
I'm not exactly sure what you're asking....do you want to find out how you can create a portfolio online? Or the different ways to collect and display your work online? Or are you asking how to create a physical or digital portfolio of ones own work?
@cfsellers they are asking to link a portfolio of my work. I linked my Facebook "shop". Apparently there's not enough items of my work even though there's well over 200 items! I don't know what I'm meant to send but I've got 44 days before I can try again!
@@AllCreasedUpI don't think CF accepts Facebook Shops as a viable place you can show your portfolio. With CF, I think they only accept either a website, or on Behance. I use Payhip.com to create my website/shop and it's free too! (It's better than Shopify) It's the best I've found online. I'm still puzzled by the number of downloads from subscriptions. Do we count on the scale of the WHOLE creative fabrica or within 1 user? $11.60/2= $5.80. Let's assume that one user who has a subscription has ONLY downloaded products from me, from no one else. Does that mean the whole 5.80 is for me?
This is what CF says: Creative Fabrica will collect and pay VAT where applicable, so no, you don’t have to worry about VAT. You will always receive the amount set by you. The only thing you need to declare is your own income/the payouts you request to PayPal or Payoneer. We strongly recommend that you educate yourself on local legislation, as you might be eligible to pay tax in your state or country. Hi there, Kerry. Thank you so much for an amazing video. I recently started selling on Creative Fabrica (less than 2 weeks ago) and was wondering if you know how we can see which designs have been downloaded. In the "reporting" section of the dashboard, it says I have no orders, but I know at least 1 product was downloaded. Does it take a while to be updated? Thanks in advance.
Hey Joana, congratulations about opening your own CF store. I'm sure you'll do great. Unfortunately, CF does not allow you to see what specific products sell or have sold. You are only able to see which ones have the most favorite likes. CF doesn't have good analytics like other platforms. I'm not even sure if or when they will be improving a feature like this for their sellers. They've told me that they are thinking about it in the future, but there is no word or guarantee that better analytics will be coming for sellers any time soon. So for now, you only can see which products have more hearts than others. You can see this when you go into your dashboard and look at "manage products", then you'll be able to see all of your products, and which have the most hearts. I hope this helps!
