I love how I was trying to learn about videography, especially the audio part. You know you're going to learn a lot about a topic when Colt covers it, and you're sure to have fun learning it. ps:Post Credit is a BANGERRRR
Hey Colt (or should I call you Dora the New Yorker 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣) 👋, I think this video is one I’ll want to keep in my personal playlist just in case I’m interested in making some cool videos of my own. 😄 Although the film, A Trip to the Moon (1902) deserves to be appreciated for what it is, I have to admit that you improved the film and made it more engaging to watch with your sound designs. (Can I also say that Boots enjoying some snacks was also a perfect choice (9:49)? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣) Thanks Colt! Sending you lots of love!!! ❤️❤️❤️🤗 Ritchie P.S. I couldn’t help but imagine the people watching you and Boots dance (0:27) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love the Dora theme that tied it all together at the end. I was so confused by the Spanish theme and backpack half way though but I just think it was the greatest how entertaining you made an educational vid
I don't even own a camera but still I learned so much I wish you taught at my university!!! never learned something so quick before!! Hats Off to you buddy!!🙌🏻👩🏻💻
The boots are sooo good. I was like this is so cool I think I know how he did this and BANG the boots are like flying and it’s shoelaces are movin all around.
I never really come back to a RU-vid video when I don't manage to watch the whole thing the first time round. You made me change that today. A real masterpiece.
Got into video editing just for fun when I made my friends a graduation video during covid. Creators like you are what have kept that joy alive, I'm happy to have bumped into your channel. Subscribed!
BRO UR INSANE! either im an idiot or your the literal best teacher of all time. ive watched countless videos but yours actually make sense in my brain lol.
Amazing video man. May I make a super small suggestion? You mentioned allowing 6 to 12db of headroom which is great. However, instead of bringing up the gain in post, may I suggest that you do two things before that? Cutting the lows & the extreme highs can cut unnecessary fluff out. And then you can utilize a compressor afterwards to tighten the sound. Lastly, you can then bring up the gain although most compressors have makeup gain automatically applied. You may need a de-esser depending on the scope of your project & how polished you want it. Almost all these audio effects are built into premiere pro but I’d highly recommend the Fab-Filter bundle. You’ll be amazed. Free 30 day trial (I’m not sponsored by then but they’re well-respected in the music world) -former runner / assistant engineer / big fan of yours
Thanks for this tutorial, your story is inspiring and you share so much joy when recording. I am on a similar journey and hope to reach the level you are at one day, good luck!
You're honestly an amazing creator. I feel like I learned so much from this despite learning it before. The format that you film and edit is peak. Thank you, and I hope more people discover your channel because honestly you're great at what you do !
A small thing. Whenever there was a transition, I felt like the background music was a bit too loud and was covering up your words. Just felt like that, you're the expert hehe.
I’ve been trying (and stressing) to understand microphones for months!!! Thank you for providing so much valuable info and clarity. I bought the shotgun ECM-B10 linked in your description. Thank you! 😊
I’m just getting into the world of film and I think I have found my mentor 💪🏼 I’m looking forward to more of this and I’d definitely pay if this wasn’t free
You dropped this as I'm literally about to start recording VO and putting together a sound effect library for my first YT video -- even tho I've been reading a lot about audio recording for a couple weeks I still learned a few things from this! Thanks!
I honestly have nothing much to say. Amazing video! Super creative and amazing. Like let's just imagine one day we will see a movie directed by him 🤯 Anyway, I have nothing much to say just wanted to comment, with love, to support the video
Hey Colt. Another fantastic video! Doing some detective work here, please let me know if this is correct. The boots animations was done with someone wearing them in green pants then chroma keyed out and masked did I guess correctly?
