This will forever be my go-to twist out video. I have repeated this hairstyle so many times throughout the last 4-5 years and I get so many compliments whenever I do this. Idc how old this video gets, I will always come back to it to refreshen my twist out skills. Nobody on RU-vid does a better twist out as neat and perfect as she does hers!!

I have a suggestion for keeping your flat twist tight: try using bobby pins at the end of the flat twist and complete each twist at the ends.

Eliminating the water is an excellent idea! I've noticed my hair is not as full with wet twist outs. I used cantu leave in on dry hair and loved the results. Thank you for your video!

Seriously I had no idea how incredibly easy it is to flat twist! I got through the first section on your tutorial when I jumped up to try it on my own hair... 10 mins later then entire heads done and wrapped. Thank you SO very much for this. I'm currently trying to transition from straight always blown & flat ironed hair to natural. For me my curls were always hard to maintain, but after noticing obvious breakage due to over heating my hair its time to give it some much needed rest. Your hair is absolutely beautiful! you can really just use any one of your fav moisturizers that have a little hold

whenever i see raggedy ends and then i do a good trim when i straighten which is once a year

This is my all time favorite hair tutorial by you. I found this in 2014 and have been using it ever since. Girl you are the one taught me how to flat twist! I wore my hair like this a few times last summer and received so many compliments on it. Only difference is I kept the two braids in the front still twisted and pinned it towards the back like a braid crown. I'm trying this style again for tomorrow but I didn't blow out my hair this time. I'll see how it turns out.

I have long hair too so I use a dryer with a comb on it and dry in rows from back to front. I can get through without any breaks 😃
