I've been playing this game for almost a decade and I still watch all of these videos because I'm still figuring new things out everyday. Don't be intimidated new players this game is huge.
This is funny because I felt the exact same when I got into it some years back. Started playing The First Descendant and realized how complicated Warframe seems like in comparison.
This is very helpful I just got in to the game and I'm already loving it just a little bit challenging to farm alone because nobody really answers my farming group requests
@@bencintoshgaming5855 yes everyone I have been asking even new players and they know Excalibur prime is unobtainable and I’m a new player my self I started 2 days ago I just need to finish the new war but this stupid necramech
@@itachiuchiha-hx3rz my brother in christ New mfs can't reach new war in 2 days it took me about 100 hours just to unlock it and I also need a nekromech
I've basically marathoned your videos to get Warframe better, they are very informative and easy enough to understand. Thanks so much for these! Definitely waiting for more on the future 🐐
That's the one thing that doesn't seem fair about the game. Like I get it was a reward for early adopters, but there should still be a way to get it for the rest of us. Not saying it has to be easy or cheap, but *some* way would be nice.
Slight correction at 5:50. You actually can look that up in game, just go over to the codex where you can see all of your quests. Find the section for your relics and search for whatever prime weapon or Warframe you want and it will show all the relics that contain those parts. Then select the specific relic you want and it will show where on the star chart it's likely to drop from.
Holy shit this actually helped, I was stuck by other tutorials basically just saying “open these” for 8 bloody minutes when this one actually went into more detail about how to open and get better chances of these parts and etc, definitely subbed after this tutorial! Edit: I know I just sent this comment like 2 minutes ago but I just found out about aya which is really helpful and I’ll definitely send this to some friends who play warframe:)
My history with Warframe is very funny. I started to play 5 years ago and I didn't understand literally nothing, so I dropped, even found it enjoyable. Then a gave a second chance recently and bro I can't stop playing, and that's because your videos helped me a lot to actually understand what I have to do. So thanks a lot bro, keep the good work !
Same for me and my brother. We played warframe around 2014/15, but only for like 40 hours. We literally understood nothing and just tried to farm our first warframe, which took forever and soon dropped it. We came back with the Duviri Update to see what changed and how the beginner experience is. Well... we love it xD But let's see if that keeps going, since we both study and work... I am scared that it's to much time effort and gets boring if you are in Mid/Late game :(
I wish you two a lot of fun ^^ I'd say just play as long as it's fun. The game is not challenging to a point where you have to grind only to be able to progress so as a purely for fun type of player you shouldn't have that much trouble 😉
@@MHBlacky_ENG Danke für die Antwort Blacky! :D Deine Videos helfen sehr! Bin wirklich froh dich gefunden zu haben, auch dein deutsche Kanal ist Top! :) Du steckst echt viel Arbeit rein, und es ist total informativ und mit wichtigen Infos für neue Spieler - mach weiter so :)
came back to the game, opened some of my years old relics (vaulted currently), bought the 3 things i didnt get cuz RNG and now im crafting valkyr, oberon and mag prime at the same time life is good man also those videos are really well made and enjoyable to watch, genuinly surprised that you only have 30k subs
Thank you so much for your videos Blacky. :D I started Warframe 3 weeks ago or something like that, and your videos and guides literally carried me through early game. Im currently maining Rhino and the Acceltra and im just about to go into steelpath.
I'm super happy I could help you get into and enjoy the game :D Thank you so much for your lovely feedback ❤️ Sounds like you're making some solid progress, which is nice! ^^
Let's get one thing straight the guy that opens a Rad in random squads, that guy Is the Real Hero. so many newbies got to complete a warframe because of these guys, me included
@@hndrxx4205 When I was last playing, players organized to do a "rad share". This is where people would upgrade their relic to the "radiant" quality level by spending void traces (gotten by cracking relics), in order to make it easier to get the higher rarity items. It is expected that all players bring a Radiant relic to crack.
As a noob to this game I started not so long got to mars so far this has helped a lot jus try and talk slower man feels rushed people like these videos and will still watch for the great info !
5:32 this part is wrong. you actually can search in game where relics drop at. you go to the codex console at your ship's front and click the relics option. then you can search for the relic you need and it will show you exactly where it drops at. also if the relic is vaulted it will say that it is vaulted
thank you for making these guides i used to play warframe casually i always wanted to jump in but the progression was too scattered these guides make me want to hit the ground running everytime i watch these i get more fired up
Thank you for the video. Ive been playing for about a month now and I was able to farm my first prime Warframe solo. Specifically I got Khora Prime and I'm not sure if she is good, but it's still such a great feeling in this game.
Khora Prime is good, she has a skill with an augment that can increase drop rates of enemies defeated in it. Warframe is a game with a lot of grind, and anything that helps is nice. The augment is for her 4, Strangledome, and the augment is Pilfering Strangledome.
I was recommended warframe as its free to play by several d2 clan members and I have enjoyed it thus far, as i just unlocked mars. This relic thing personally for me doesn't seem like a massive problem as I'll probably never use it or get any of the prime varients of anything really. I'm using the tutorial bow, kunia and sword... been leveling them up as they are easy to use and do the job well enough.
Sure, play the game however you feel comfortable ;) The normal versions of Warframes are pretty much the same in terms of performance. Prime weapons are definite upgrades but there are a ton of weapons that don't have a prime and are super strong to the point where they outperform most primes 😉
I just started as well and just unlocked phobos yesterday. One thing I found out is that as soon as you max a weapon, companion or frame you should exchange the maxed lvl 30 weapon for an unmaxed weapon as you only gain Mastery Rank XP when levelling items, maxed lvl 30 items don't give you XP. It feels wierd going from the lvl 30 modded mk1 Paris to a lvl 1 boltor or burston but thats how you progress I guess :)
Returning player. Your videos are absolutely superb. Great script, clear oration, fun visual edits, logical sequence of concepts. Freaking brilliant. Do you work as a video editor in real life?
Aaaw I'm happy that you found it helpful ❤️ I agree, there's a lot about the game that isn't explained well but I hope you won't let that discourage you 😉
mr22 here istg even tho i know most of the things you explain in your videos i love to watfch these new player guide videos that just shows that the video is well made and even enjoyable for players with thousands of hours. Und dein englisch ist unnormal gut
Aaaaw thank you so much for the lovely compliment ❤️ Glad you're enjoying it even though you know all the stuff ^^ Und dickes Dankeschön auch für dein Lob bzgl. meines Englisch ❤️
“How to get primes” *shows Excalibur prime who is locked behind OG founder pack status and we’ll likely never be able to get without spending like 3K and violating the TOS to buy a founder’s account*
Umbra is probably about level with him (and looks cooler imo) basically a prime and you get him from a quest so I don’t feel like Ex Prime is the worst gate in the world
New player here. Your videos are great. Just did my first trade with your advice on prime junk 6 for 12plat. Finally had enough to speed up the incubator for my first kubrow
Aaaw makes me very happy to hear that it worked out so well ❤️ Keep it up! I'm sure there are a lot of rare or tedious to farm mods that desperately want to be bought 😜
@@MHBlacky_ENG one thing you didnt mention that i found out is playstation players who have ps plus have free packages sitting in the playstation store.
That thumbnail is quite evil when Excalibur Prime is unaccessible for normal players. I mean... I don't care about Excalibur Prime when we have Excalibur Umbra, but I wish I could get my grabby hands on that Lato Prime and Skana Prime.
I met someone today I ask him how did he get his warframe so cool I want one he said relics I’m like what’s that so he help me get some stuff I have 3 different warframe I can build now n I didn’t know how to get the stuff or what they were thanks alot this video helped so much ❤
The tip about radshare is priceless. I wasted a bunch of relics by cracking them alone. But I also crack random relics sometimes JUST for the void traces.
New player here, thank you for your videos! They give me enough information to be dangerous, but not enough to overwhelm. Quick question! Is 12 still the going rate for prime junk?
Your thumbnail is misleading, Excalibur Prime is exclusive to Founder Accounts, it is impossible to get via relics, you could've chosen any other Prime Frame as your thumbnail, since Excalibur is a beginner choice it's just baiting beginners into thinking they can get a prime version of their starter frame (Excalibur) when in reality they can't. your guides are useful but no need to clickbait. For those of you who are looking for a upgrade of sorts for Excalibur that is obtainable, there is a story quest in which you can unlock a frame called Excalibur Umbra.
The bit of a tip if the prime part is gold rarity just run separate relics to get more void traces and if you got a bunch of prime trash( prime parts that u don't need) you can sell it on market( like:prime trash 2p each) or wait till baro is around to buy mods needed late game ( I forgot which planet to trade void tokens but u find it... eventually gl)
Great guide as always Blacky. I was wondering if you could do a guide to The Index. It might not be the most complex thing in the game, but as there is the Glast Gambit quest, players not knowing what it is could lose out on some serious credits if they go in blind, which as a new player, can be quite a hit!
Thank you, CiderDrinker ❤️ I think for the Index though, what I said about it in my Credits Guide a couple of weeks ago should do the job. If I make a dedicated video on it it would be 99% copy paste xD
Thank you for the compliment, Bro ❤️ The fun thing is, I did.... just it was on my german channel xD Nowadays I also wonder why I didn't start the english one at the same time already xD
The second time i was thrown into a team and didn't get my relic to open because im slow and don't know the map like these guys running this many times. Mission went from capture to exterminate, they killed everything, run to extraction and i got 1 minute left with a marker to extraction where on the way no enemy spawns again. No thanks, i do this missions in the future alone. As long as i can do it alone. Edit: I don't lose the not opened relic. Okay, but it is frustrating nevertheless. This time i had much time, running over the whole map and the other team went out of ectraction again so i got more time, but i didn't managed to find the one last piece i needed. To solve the problem would be to not just stop the spawn of enemys who carries this things. It is easy as that.
Sure youll be slow at start but when you start getting experience youll start to pick up speed and youll want better weapons and youll get better chances of getting prime parts from doing fissure missions with a squad. Its just the nature of the game. So dont shut the rest of the squad out just get more experience with the movement.
Mention that vaulted warframes are still obtainable in some ways: - Having a friend with the relics you need for it - Buying their sets with platinum - Or the hardest one: getting their relics for aya, because the respective relics for vaulted primes are sometimes available for aya, however they are only for limited time Soooo yeah, if the frame u want is vaulted is not the end of the world :) also it is a good idea to get the current unvaulted ones too just in case XD
@@jonathangitter1311 Prime Excalibur SPECIFICALLY is a limited edition Prime that you can get in a certain amount of time Unlike every other farmable prime
Bro how you going to show the one and only unobanable Warframe in the game in the thumbnail image? You could have picked anything. Dont get new players hopes up like that.
@@chancemyers4603 Excalibur Prime isn't obtainable. I just figured out of the tons of warframes to put in the thumbnail with basic to prime why pick Excalibur?
Bro... your profile pic... Isn't that an album cover or something... There used to be a beautiful instrumental track and I remember this peacock girl...
I'm sure you're trying to help with this video, but the thumbnail is just rotten click bate and misleading to new players. Why did you have to put Excalibur Prime on there? There's like 40 other frames you could have used for this.
I think it's just because Exaclibur is the poster child. And Umbra wouldn't work for a thumbnail because you get him from a quest. But yeah it's definitely clickbait.
@@theonlyMoancore yeah, vets can just roll their eyes at the obvious click bait, but for new players? I feel terrible for them. It's rotten and I know how I'd feel if I were in their shoes. There's other ways to get your clicks. BE CREATIVE.
I have not loaded in to Warframe for a long long time. I clicked on the video to sees if you could now get Excalibur Prime. I am a Grand master founder. So I was wondering if they released him. Glad to hear they did not.
I don't mean to be rude, I get that you gotta make money and the thumbnails have to be eye catching, but it's a little misleading especially for new players. Since, y'know, Excalibur prime is permanently vaulted as it was only obtainable to people who upgraded to a founders account back when the game dropped 😅😅😅
Very useful tips for me as 17days player that 70% clear the star chart and wandering what prime equipment and frame that I can start focusing on. Pray for me that I can clear lua spy easily 😂
As a new person i really wanted to try to get mesa prime but all the relics for them are vaulted so pretty oof but still great video and nice to know about these things
Play the highest-level missions you can reach. Ask your random teammates if they can help a newcomer with anything: boss fights, resources, blueprints. State your goal to get the Mesa Prime blueprints. There's a small chance someone will just trade you some part blueprints for free. Keep your chat messages short, though. Ensure your account has cross-platform synchronization and Multi-factor authentication enabled before trading with anyone. I wasn't asking anyone and just having fun in the game when one player gifted me 3 blueprint parts of Mag Prime when I mentioned that that was the only thing I was interested in at this point of the game. I had to hunt for the last part, but now I own it, and it makes me happy enough. Unlike many other people, I don't plan to try every possible warframe and just want to spend some evenings enjoying the game without non-stop farming. Meanwhile, open as many relics as possible. Always choose the most expensive items (besides formas, if you need them). Then, sell the items in bulk for platinum (you might have seen the explanation video on this channel).
