How to get ready for your first Royal Caribbean cruise

After you book your first Royal Caribbean cruise, you may realize that sail away is not too far away and you would like to be prepared for an awesome first cruise experience. There are a few easy steps you can take in the weeks and months leading up to your cruise to ensure it starts off quite well.

What you can't bring on a cruise: is.gd/70TYDW
Dietary requests: send an e-mail request to special_needs@rccl.com; please include in the e-mail the guests' names, booking number, ship name and sail date. E-mails will receive an automated response.
If you prefer to dine alone, you can also email Royal Caribbean your table request. Send an email 3 to 4 weeks prior to your cruise to rcldining@rccl.com.

What I was/am doing for my first cruise is -passports -accomodation for the night before -ways to get down there -early Christmas w/fam (cuz its a Christmas cruise) -new glasses -haircut -new clothes That’s it pretty much we are also waiting for them drink and wifi packages to be open so ya I’m rlly excited

I know it may be too late now, but Holiday Cruises are a no-go for Royal Caribbean pros, because they can get both extremely crowded, and extremely expensive!

I was under the impression when you talk about pre-purchasing things that those purchases were added to your Royal Caribbean cruise cost, spreading out the total cost of your cruise over time. I thought this meant that you could spread out the cost of your Cruise & excursions and extrasover the time remaining to pay for your cruise. Apparently this is not correct, after speaking with Royal Caribbean customer service.what this means is I have to put it on my credit card, and either accrue interest over time as I make timely payments, or pay for my excursions a year out before my cruise? This is confusing.

You don't even need you passport to go ashore .all you need is your boarding pass and a picture I d..(driver's license)

I understand 2 bottles of wine and 12 containers of a non-alcoholic beverage is allowed per stateroom. Can this be put in the luggage or does it need to be with my carry on?
