i really dont like trading, i only really use it to give away my unused items to friends that need them like straw hat. So i usually just try get the items myself by grinding as in my mind, it takes longer to find the item you want by trading if you are already really good and op.
I think there’s an issue in the polar/devourer scythe, fan, and katana tier 0 value. If I would to estimate the costs in ores to make a tier 0 katana is 25 ores, fan 24 ores, and scythe is 20 ores. However tier 0 is valued less than the cost to make. Mainly it’s the level requirements. The players that would overpay for these items are people level 80 or less. They would sell valued items (horns, lilies, mythics) for less to collect ores for them. They can’t so they don’t value ores and try to collect 20+. Because people that can finally trade polar/devourer sets are 150+, they’ve made a few by that level. So the people to trade for them always has a surplus. They want to by cheaper than cost and sell it graded up. If the trade level requirements decrease, tier 0 will have better trade value. Until then, I think only way to make profit is to upgrade and they’ll never sell for their worth. If you ever get a chance, it would be cool to hear a video that dives into trade value based upon rules And which tier weapon will have better profits?
I agree that if the level requirement is decreased then tier 0s will have better value. A lot of people receive tier 0s as part of trades so, like you said, they have extras. In turn this does make the value less than the cost to make. So yeah I agree with what you are saying. Tier 3s are hard to trade because everyone trading for them want profit. They do, however, still hold a value. It's best to hold onto these if you're going for champion items. Tier 1s and tier 2s are better for flipping. They hold a value which is still more than what it costs to make, though I am not sure if this has changed as I am not up to date on values. If that is still true then the time required to attain all of materials and upgrade the weapon has a value in itself so that is where the profit lies. Nice analysis! A video on trade value based upon trading rules is a good idea. Maybe for update 2 when new items are introduced into the game.
@@SnailPies Dude, thanks for the thorough reply. It answered a lot. Started in the spring so my analysis is based upon part playing and part speculation. I’ll make sure to subscribe
I mean i find a lot of people trading things like polar items for like 11 ores so honestly just look for people who underestimate values and then sell it off for more
At 3:23 you showed us the values/prices of those items for us to follow, while earlier u said not to follow lists of other poeple values and things like that, just a little confused sorry if i missunderstood something, im new to the trading stuff for the rest the video was pretty helpfull thanks💪👍
I only showed the prices there so that the following examples would make sense. You are correct, you should always check your values because they change so frequently. Nice catch
@@Judge_isreal Series of lowballing and profiting off flipping items. I’d say polar bottoms/polar masks have been the most profitable. For Rengoku Haorie/Tengen Uniform I lowballed, flipped it, and then just bought it again at a decent price along with the devourer katana.
@@yoshi_1803wow you helped me so much I just changed a mist katana into polar set and then traded the polar bots for 12 ores and traded dev mask for 6 ty sm
Personally I took chats and averge trades for different items to kinda make my own list and make it flexible for example the least amount of ores I saw for StrawHat was two ores and highest was 6 ores so I used 3 or 4 ores to trade for one
Can I add you for a day and trade you for akaza top or like learn good trade so I don’t have to get 270 ore and cause everybody’s a scammer when it comes to them
For me, it ez, buy a war fan for 7-9 ores, then sell it for 10, i got, that means i will get 3 or 1 ore, then i find another trader trading war fan for 7-9 ores, just repeat
I buy low price and sell it high price like you gonna buy sound katana for 6 ores, sell it for 8 ores you make 2 ores continue it until you get a lot of ores.
Please pin for my suffering I messed up I gave akaza top for a few low polar/dev weapons and some money. It's only been 15 hours and I've redeemed myself with getting the Emmu set for stuff around 300 ore
