It depends on personality though. There are some people who appear perfectly happy in their 9-5 ... I guess it's all about the terms. There are builders and there are maintainers ... There are people who feel excitement taking risks and making huge steps. And there are people who just love the comfort and security of repetition ... And small incremental improvements. And truth be told. Small incremental and almost invisible improvements are what work 90% of the time. Plus, humans are hierarchical by nature. Even in the family.

I would really like to take the risk of building my own business, but I am a blue collar kid with a personality more leaning to austism, most people I meet do not really want to be my buddies or keep contact. I do not complain. But running a business and providing a useful product and ensuring that the money is payed by customers takes a lot of appreciation....how do I generate that. I work in some company and we are customers to others and it happens often that out of a sudden we are treated like beggars totally ignored in spite of the other compy being obligated to us that their machines sold to us run. How do I find out what people need? The first of many questions. And how do I get them to listen to me who would be seen as an upjump.....business where I live seems to be some closed circle of friends, newcomers are very rare. Do I ask for shortcuts? Maybe.....But the wisdom sold here was to avoid competition, not entering a merket which can be quickly occupied by competition. And yet all I can do is passionately pick some idea and push it so hard that I have barely any mental capacity left comparing as whether to I better do something else. I like this video, very encouraging....but the most important questions are unanswered. We would be all rich, if we possesed so many skills to find out how to be entrepreneuers. Except we would not. Think of Russian oligarchs for example, they bribe some local police that raids some minor business with the potential to mess around with a bigger olligarch. Think of ERP software, huge, useless crappy....open source is approaching it for years.....people can learn to set up an erp system but when you buy from large companies like SAP you are given a hardly managable system that tries to chain the customer permanently.
@alexxchavezee
@alexxchavezee 4 года назад
I agree with him wording it incompletely; leaving the practical "how" unanswered but I believe I can help: 1) using leverage: the internet is leverage because it allows creators to sell their ideas/products/intellectual property..., it allows you to sell to anyone around the world through banks and cryptocurrencies, it allows you to brand your idea on your website which you can monetize, in some cases you don't even have to touch your merchandise- there are companies that will do this for you for FREE, it never closes, and most importantly, whoever is looking for what you're selling, they can have instant access to you. Financial leverage is more like using a bank's money instead of yours, but not through a personal loan but through a business loan; more on this later. 2) your idea should be something you love, or if you want to learn and are curious about other things, you can leverage the power of RU-vid and watch free tutorials. But this is the shocker: running a business is so much more than just being good at x. You will have to learn so much but it is SO worth it! If you can create your business on paper, meaning if you file/register your Limited Liability Corporation, this will allow you extremely good advantages than doing business as an individual. You can take your LLC paperwork to the bank and apply for a business loan. You want this because banks LOVE doing business with people that KNOW and can show that they are competent in running a business like a business and that it already has a river of revenue every month.
@sebastianschulz6531

@@alexxchavezee goo start. but i think i rather need to develop some idea that serves others well instead of something i love and preferably nothing i loath. nothing that can be copied. üter thiel makes restaurants the anti-example of business to open. any food will do, you can eat cheaper if you cannot afford it otherwise. and competition is high. eventually people will catch up and either copy or surpass you so no entrepreneurship will be static forever, the universe itself is not. but that would not be bad and it means you made a successful impact.
@sebastianschulz6531
@sebastianschulz6531 4 года назад
@@alexxchavezee we live in a changing world, economy included, and in most party of the world you are rich if you control the scarce resources. people cannot replace them with surrogates, food water. in an industrilaized society this applies to jobs in general, because unless you are hardcore frugalist that can let go of all luxuries and live of fw things, you need to work. nobody has demonstrated reasonably that we can be all entrepreneurs and all live relatively free and even as entrepreneur you are bound to either customers or investors and need to satisfy them. in other words there is no total freedom. it is a fairy tale no one should pursue, i like riding motorcycles, it gives me the feeling of freedom, I do not pretend it is freedom, and if all people started to ride motorcycles like the industry selling those bike wants to, we would end up not feeling free except when all those crowds that gather on two wheels somehow trigger some hard wired neurons in your brain, and you feel like a teenager when you enjoyed being in large crowds, back in that age when people are young, they are lost and look out for connections to others because that makes their lives meaningful. We could all do well in cars half that size we ride now, we would get safely to work, and anything....but we compete a little and get quickly dissatisfied. I have doubts that this entrepreneurship advice works for a lot of reasons, I admit I cannot really present them well, it is not my job to do such things, I did not earn a humanities degree or any journalism degree where some people develop the finest presentation skills and I do not refer to some loud and proud youtubers like Jordan Peterson or Ben Shapiro whose overconfidence and shallow intellectual depth is quite boring and the people who flock to them make me facepalm permanently. So far we only look at people where entrepreneurship worked or is working.....what about all those people who did well and than things crashed anyway. I think success is way more statistical, it is easier to listen to Naval and work on those things of internal attitude, but even Naval captures some things with terms like judgement naming some investor and that his surplus in good investments lead him to be a guy that other investors entrust him billions with because his results can be seen and are therefore credible. That is a good example, and many people in office environments never get there because superiors keep them busy with bullshit or assign them crappy work to frustrate them expecting them not to thrive and maybe leave the company all together. You only get to have such reputation when you fly around for long and even then you can be discovered to be a manipulating con man who successfully conspired and fooled people and embezzled their money "wolf of wall street" like. - praising some unknown companies to have people buy their stocks and materialize profits by having them bought for a low price. - pretending to have a revolutionary technology that improves medical tests and paces the results being fast. (Elisabeth Holmes, Theranos read how they mobbed employees who found that their technology or the promises it deals were never achievable in the first place, Holmes wanted the fame and was even sponsored by former US presindet Clinton and people from such circles, even they are either too stupid or particpate willingly in that fraud) In is a great dream to be the first as an entrepreneur.... yet think of a real genius like Einstein. His theory predicted black holes(he was not the first to conceptualize such an idea, but his work furthered the previous works, and another dude solved his equations and therefore the event horizon bears his name Schwarzschild radius) or gravitational waves of which Einstein himself said, do not even try to measure them, they are impossible to measure. It took like 80 more years to get there, progress exceeds life times and especially that shorter span you are part of the work force. Mark Zuckerberg was a smart dude, but he was lucky too, he will most likely never pull off anything else like Facebook and he deserves all he earned inspite of the well incured criticism for selling data and pimping it to people with shady intentions like manipulation of elections.

I think technology will be able to do what most religions have failed to do, and that is force us to look inside . The internal realm has always belonged to us. The collective consciousness of society will change as machines/robots/technology replace more and more jobs. Man will be left with the opportunity to really reflect on what he is capable of offering to the world. Technology has the potential to allow man to express the fullest version of himself. Tech will substitute more and more manual labor jobs and outperform mans ability to memorize and store information even more so. The only thing man will be left with is his own consciousness and awareness. What he does with it will be a very different era than any other one we have had before.
