I made the mistake of feeding HUGE bags of birdseed to the birds in my backyard. No joke the bird mites ate me up so bad I look like a meth addict from scratching. I have never been so miserable in my life. NEVER again will I feed birds in my backyard.

No one ever told me about bird mites !! Here I am thinking it’s a cool little nature thing happening on my patio how cute cause they laid eggs one day ! Good God brother I hope your In the DFW area. Your the first person to hit the nail on the head. 7 yrs ago I was ran over by a drunk illegal alien. He was going about 70 mph down a downtown street an ran me over as I was crossing. Needless to say that didn't leave me with a lot of options. I'm put together like a rag doll. I'm legally handicap an so I moved into an Rv. No one believes me!!! I've showed my mother an friends ur video, I've shown them forums where countless people are saying the same thing I'm saying. I don't have a spleen, an appendix or a gallbladder so saying I have a weekend immune system is an understatement. My mother and all my friends are hippies who think ever chemical is bad. They literally take everything I putchase an throw it away. Just watching ur video gave me so much hope!!!! Start telling people there's microscopic mites that climb your walls and jump down on you and watch there reactions. I depend on my mom for help cuz I can hardly get around. I poured that diatemeous earth stuff all over my over my Rv. She had cleaner it all up the next day when I went for my doctors appointment. I'm with u , nature is not ur friend. It's a long story but I'm at my wits end. My mom also a harder, brother I've got everything from carpet beetles, bird mites, to many white eggs to identify. 2 exterminator companies have said there is nothing they can do. The last one said I was doing more than they could. I saw a mite crawling across my phone screen that made me know I was not crazy. I can only soldier on. I spray, vacuum, put my bedclothes in the dryer on high every night before bed. I treat myself with Neem and tea tree oil. On my worst night I had to get up 3 times to change bedclothes and shower. I soak some clothes in permethrin. I got rid of bird nests over a year ago. I find tiny dark spots in my bed in the morning.

Thank you for addressing bird mites. I have a total infestation of my townhouse(which began in my walls) in Dec 2014. I' ve had everything inspected. There is no evidence of birds of in the house, on the roof, or in the attic. The chimney has always been screened, and the technician said it was still intact. Still, I replaced the metal cover. My gutters have gutter guards with an intricate coil system that prevents access and space for leaves and birds. Inspections bear this out.when inspected. Five exterminator companies have inspected my interior exterminator companies. The fifth company finally sent someone who recognized the pest, but the company never addressed the problem, despite being paid lump sums. So I have been fighting this battle alone, spending thousands on essential oils, enzymes, sterifab chemicals (including Suspend SC) and IGRswith pressure sprayers, vacuums, foam machines, to get into wall voids where inserts have been inspections placed every foot. Nothing works. I have to mop ceilings and floors daily in the bedroom. I just cannot get to thecentire house. My subfloors are bare. Everything is in large zip locked bags, upholstered furniture gas been discarded. My car is infested. I won't let my 9 year old grandaughter my frie ds visir, and I won't enter their homes. or visit and having to discard furniture and live an idolared existence out of zip lock garment bags. I even put new vinyl siding on the house before realizing the infeststion came from abandoned nests in the neighbor's the too wide, too tall, too close tree that has intruded into my yard since 2000. My property has been destroyed. The HOA has refused to get involved. I have paid for inspections from the roof, attic, gutters to the ground of my townhouse. I even paid thousands to replace the insulation in my attic. I live in Maryland. All the companies I come across on the Web are nowhere near. I am 72. My entire life's work has been destroyed. Heat treatment is being considered, as (fumigation isn't an option with town homes). Have you seen any successful extermination of this longstanding inside the walls of a home? The tree bark looks terrible, but the neighbor or refuses to cut it down or properly prune and treat it. I have new windows, but mites an be seen in my window sills, so I don't open them. Finally, my bedridden brother, a stroke survivor, is in the front bedroom. It is all I can do to keep him comfortable. Thanks for any help you can offer. In hell.

9 years, I've been dealing with this. My husband doesn't feel them but they bite myself and my dog all night long as soon as fall weather creeps in and goes away in the warm months. I'm so tired.

Bed bugs are a joy compared to these SOBs, but I’m going to follow your advice, you mighty, Sherpa of bugs. This has literally made me suffer far more than anything I’ve ever dealt with. I went undiagnosed with Lyme disease for years, felt like I was going to die. No comparison to this pestilence. Do you have any suggestions on how to get rid of a pesky ex? Thanks for all the info Sir. I have 3 dogs, I've treated them with permethrin 13.3 and also started with wondercide that has peppermint and cedar and other oils. We had chickens and they were the source. I did a permethrin dip on them and it killed the mites. We have unfortunately gotten the chickens out of here and have had all kinds of issues in the house. We wash everything on high heat everyday and vacuum twice a day. What is safe to use in the house with dogs and a newborn? It's getting insane.

I have been receiving the worst bites since moving into my new rental. I couldn't see the bug until last night when it crawled across my phone screen. It was a tiny thing that resembled a tiny spider. About the size of a pinhead. And it did NOT squish when I tried to kill it. I looked all over the Internet to try and identify and the closest thing it resembles is a bird mite. this spring we had birds build a nest in the nose of our fifth wheel camper and lay eggs in there... we could hear the babies chirping so I told my husband to leave them and they would fly away in time... well they did but now our camper is infested and in our brand new mattress :( I did two bug bombs in there and they are still alive.. I'll try this next. I don't even want to go camping again until they are all out of there and dead. Hi. Is there by chance a natural plant or oil that bird mites specifically hate. I am one of those people who is lucky enough to be an insect magnet. These “invisible bugs” seem to bother no one else around me. When I step outside during a certain time of spring, they leap onto me and it doesn’t seem to depend where I am. I am using natural oils in home made “perfume” to repell other insects, it’s not bug spray, but it seems to make me less of a target and more like a normal person. Thank you so much for this video.

Thanks, I tried this but it did not work at all. Instead, I took bottles of rubbing alcohol and began dousing my chair at work, under my desk, and spraying my car and home (careful because it’s flammable). It seems to be drying them out! Sorry in advance for a super long comment: I first came across your videos on flea about a month ago when I started getting bit by "invisible bugs" and since then I had an exterminator spray the house for fleas twice (he said he didn't see anything jumping, etc. but agreed to spray anyway). I'm still getting bit (skin punctures, red dots, pinprick feelings) and I'm only just learning about bird mites today! I haven't been able to see anything in a homemade Dawn flea trap. Is that enough to conclude that what I have is bird mites? If not, what would be helpful to identify what kind of pest(s) I have? (I'm not sure if it's bird mites cuz I don't see any birds around, but I could have picked them up from a walk). Thank you so so much in advance, and I'm subscribing to your channel! :)

I have Rats that I breed, ASF and Norwegian rats. I have ball pythons so I'm worried on what to use to get rid of them. They are in my hair and bite me all over, I have been fogging with Dr. Bens Cedar Oil as well as I used nylar to treat the bassboards. 9 months and thousands thousands of dollars later im still living in hell and hoping I can try to enjoy xmas. I feel like they are all in my clothes, I wash them with borax so forth and still after that when i put them on i feel the crawling then a bite. Is that possible or what bug could that be. I have tiny bugs that are biting ! ! Really bad ! They are black & tiny also there's white ones that are like a tiny ball, even smaller, But they bite & hurt really bad also. They are really really hard to get rid of. I almost have to move. I moved into an apartment, The maintenance man & some people he knows I guess he didn't like me even though I didn't do anything to him, I'm always nice & Thankful to him. But one day he was in my bed room when I got home & he said he sprayed outside the window & on the wall inside because of Sugar Ants. But that wasn't a big problem, While he was talking, He glanced at a bag on the floor because I was Just moving in & had stuff in bags . I started to feel this biting on & off as I was getting my stuff organized, I looked in that bag & in the Bottom it was Full of Black & white bugs, Horas ! I had them before vindication against me & People wanted to my Mobile Home Do Those Mites Got into my house Their bite Was Waaay worse than a needle ! ! ! I had no clue where they came from or what they were, I had a Professional come to my house 3xs to no Avail, it would Slow down abit for a little while, But Soo very painful, I was trying to sell anyway, I had a few lookers, but didn't go through finally the office told me of a family that wanted to buy , I had to get rid of a good piece of furniture that was like new. Because it was full of them but You could Not see them at all. So I sold to the family that went to the office, a pretty big family & the oldest daughter told me she had a Cousin living in the park, a few years later, I realized what had happened. I wanted to tell them, The Place was up for sale anyway you didn't have to use The Witchcraft bugs ! I guess that's what the Cousin did. I call them Witchcraft bugs, because they come out of nowhere & they go Through 2 layers of Clothing & bite like hell. 2 years after that it happened again, I had to put a Thick layer of Vicks Vapor rub all over my body, so when they started to bite, They got Stuck In the Vicks & I could take them off right away., I have been doing that again in 2 days I go through a jar of Vicks , Maybe one & a half. It is hellachious ! ! I don't remember where I found other People going through this, in 2018, But I did & one person said it made him want to kill himself. They go in your eyelashes & every where. . I tied that bad up & put it in the Garage, To show the land Lord. I bombed yesterday in the bedroom & This evening in-between the Kitchen & The living room I left for 3 hours, but when I got home, the oder from the spray was still very strong in the air. Odd because you only need to leave normally do 2 hours. It's a form of harassment. But this kind is very bad. I just moved in & it was very hard to find a Place, & Now, I'm Already, Asking God, Where to go next, Again Just like before, To a safe place. Evidently that prayer did not get answered this time. But I will keep praying & looking on how to get away from these harassing Stalkers, It's been hell, the things they do but this is the Worst. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 I have already moved a few times because of these haters. Just want to settle down in Peace. I guess this guy doesn't know or experienced this kind of Mite, A lot of people don't & Not the exterminator that came to my house either, unfortunately.

Of course it is horrible this can mess with humans, but I still feel bad for the birds since it sounds like they can't just get rid of them, that is so horrible. It sounds like humans can be free of it within a year since they die off or if you kill them sooner (I am curious will will bird mites for sure die off in a year if there is no bird, can new eggs not hatch and start the cycle over?).
