I went to the Gatorade facility used a stopwatch to determing the ping it appears 2k runs on 500-800ping that is absolutely fucking insane for a triple a game that cost 70 bucks and forces people to spend 50 bucks just to be able to play absolutely shocking shameless rat company
It's frustrating how I'm having Excellent Shot Release on my own in MyCareer, but my jumpshots can't go in the Neighborhood games coz the delay is just insane. I'm limited to just do dunks when I play online. 🤦
u think it's bad ? try standing dunks with dunk meter my main build is a sort of 7'0 Shaq with a 99 standing 95 Str the meter is WAY too fast can only try to predict it & ultimately end up missing 7/10 times (because the game somehow thinks that a 6'4 /w 70 strenght mf can contest my paint beast on a standing dunk so it puts me into a goofy-ahhh layup animation...)
Yeah, it forces u to either play offline permanently or online permanently.. 2 completely different games. I'll practice getting my laggy ass jump shot down in online play, but if i play a mycareer game, I have to practice another couple.hours just to relearn how to shoot again
The connection is the reason I’m building my center for the park … these guys online all started chewing my head off for missing a few shots 😂 I really hope 2k can fix this issue for me upgrading my internet and it’s still not that great ….
Not knowing your jumpshot? Bro we green non stop off line but soon as u go to the park its like youre holding the button down and never letting it go lol the visual cue is fucked, where normally release your shot will get you a very late at the park because its lagged to fuckin hell
If you would watch the video you would know that I said you need to learn park timing for your jumpshot, anybody can green in mycareer it’s single player lol
It's beyond that though. I can hit in park one day, and not at all the next. But 2k been trying to mess with the shot timings to hurt the Zens, which I'm all for, screw the zens/titan 2's. I think they still tweaking it, so it broke.@@SwishDF
nah i feel you lol, the delay in this game is so bad, but if you do all of these methods (especially the main ones) i promise you’ll notice a difference
Hate when the latency appears after a game that runs smoothly this makes my stats drop and my team mates are upset and when I play on ball I run all over the place smh
I'm forced to play with dunking all the time coz of this problem. Can't mix up with threes coz the jump shots have a late reaction in my online play. While when I play single player I'm getting greens. 🤦 Been figuring this one out for a long time. 🤦😥
I feel you, you play on lan cable? And if not, that’s your reason even if you have high speed. Your connection will be good most of the time, but occasionally you will skip frames and or lag
if you play with a lan cable and a monitor, you will have an advantage and be able to move a lot faster. i have a lan cable along with 650 download speed wi-fi, and i still spikes. spikes are gonna happen since the servers suck, that’s just how this game is sadly. but you can minimize the spikes with the methods in the vid
What I would do is just move your router closer to your room, that’s honestly the next best thing. As long as you do the other tips in this video you should be good my boy
Man 2k headed to the toilet bowl. This game is awful. Too slow.dumb animations. Character celebrating but missed the shot or dunk... This game really feels like the creators have never played basketball. It's on sale now for 20$.

I feel you bro, the delay be too much lmaoo, but 2k automatically puts you into the right server if you load into the game, but if you join someone manually (via friends list/joining off of a player) it could put you into the wrong server

there are certain modes you can play that don't have delay, which are pretty much only offline modes like single player challenges in myteam, mycareer nba games etc. but delay will always be an issue an mycareer, etc. but any online mode will have delay and it sucks lmao@@PCTutorijali1100

The solution is buying wired internet. Everyone playing on WiFi is going to miss unless your folks are paying a lot of $$. Which if your on WiFi it’s probably just basic internet. I have to pay $70.00 a month just to have my own internet lol.
I have no clue how to see what server I am on I think that’s my problem. Because I have a Ethernet cable I have a great monitor but still not smooth at all can you help me find what server I am on and how to fix it
They changed it for some reason, idk why but you can’t even see anymore. But know that when you load into the game it puts you in your own server, the only way you could be in a diff server is if you join off of a friend
Anything over cat 6 is worthless as your xbox/ps5 and internet don't use that high of bandwitdh. It's like taking two vitamins when your body only really can process one, the rest is unused and a waste. Not a tech genius, just happened to do a lot of research on this exact topic.

But the tips in the video are how you can get rid of the MOST delay possible, maybe your internet is just ass 😭

I mean yeah.. you have to spend money for most things in life in general lmfao, I did go over free methods. Even though they aren't as effective as the other methods they still help a lot
