Also, I have other ants as well. The little teeny black ones, carpenter ants and house ants. And I haven't seen any real mounds but they're all over the place outside.
What are the best alternative to the birth control product extinguish X. Is there any organic version or anything that is safer but still effective in this same way to kill off the colony?
I have fire ants in my walls. So I would use the Fipro and whatever dust that is? I can't use any poisons outside because the well is 50 ft from my lot. I have to use Diatemaceous earth and cinnamon.
Hi. Reaching out to you from Ireland. Our garden is invaded by fire ants. We are also planing to dig up the whole garden to level it out. Any suggestions? Should we spray the garden before of after being it’s been digged up?

Thanks for this information in the video. Do you know anything about the effectiveness or application of Spinosad? The yard has so many fire ant colonies and nut loving caterpillars it has become a nuisance. I've read good things about spinosad but I can't seem to search for products using it more than a trace amount very easily. Is it even any good comparable to what you've presented here?
Are any of these products harmful to cats/pets? Also you show red fire ants. Are there any which are tiny little black ants? I have a location with tiny little black ones who bite the daylights out of me any time I go to plant or clean the weeds, grass, etc from that area. Their bites burn for about 15 mins or more then slowly fade away. The next morning there were whelps or bumps where they have bitten. I have to pull them off one at a time. They seen to hold on for dear life. It takes about one to two weeks for the bumps to die down with constant treatments. I have found that peroxide works best. Menthol alcohol used to help some and so did Melaleuca cream for a little while. But this year, even with long gloves, they still got to me quickly. I have never seen them before last year and have been here for close to 30 year. I believe they attacked my cat first, then me. They are awful. I live in zone 7B for gardening. I gets pretty cold here in the winter lately.
I’ve had good luck with using my leaf blower. We don’t have fire ants but the ants we do have I just blow them away from their nest and since there’s no trail to follow to get them back to the nest they cant find it. The nests go away.
We do not have any store locations in Alabama. The closest would be in Louisiana or Georgia. You can place an order on our website as well. We deliver all over the US.
The best way to tell if you have fire ants: Go shoeless and disturb their nest. You will find out quickly. Do you like welts? Fire ants have a nice trick for you. After many get on you, they wait for their commander to say "Bite!" The granular type of killer only makes the survivors move feet or yards away and they re-establish a colony. Fire ants are the Florida State Insect.
We have bad fire ants in Eastport, Maine. And it freezes hard here. Some people call them French ants cause they were brought over an a cargo ship years ago.
We've got red ants in the backyard that were never there before in a Sandy dirt in a child's play area. I doubt this but are either of the poisons you said to use child &/or pet safe? If not then WTH do I do? The kid can be taken out the equation for as long as needed but my 4 huskies can't. Need any something at least pet safe?
I am from india and fire ants are in my kitchen. So what is the solution of this? I cannot use any insecticide or pesticide because it can harm the food present in the kitchen. So what is the solution of my problem?
If you are unable to use any kind of insecticides in your kitchen, we are a bit limited on what we can recommend. What we would suggest is to completely clean out the affected area, inspecting your food products to make sure ants haven't gotten into them, and tossing out anything they have gotten into. Maintaining a clean kitchen and storing your food in sealed containers will go a long way. We also suggest finding out where the ants are coming in from, and treating the area with pesticides and baits from the outside. Treating the exterior of your home while maintaining a clean environment inside can be highly effective. If you have any other questions, please reach out to us on our website.
@@solutionspestandlawn I live in an apartment and these ants are literally everywhere. I have tried Insectisides and every thing yet they don't seem to go away. Please help
I think they got in my car via my daughter's carseat when I was cleaning. Is there a good way to get rid of them? They messed up my little girl's back really bad.

What can I use once the fire ants have penetrated the house. I found a trail on my carpet after getting dressed and and realized I was getting stung under my pants. I went into my room where I had my pants and found the trail coming out of my bathroom. What can I do at this point?
Fire ants are the worst. First year having them. Didn’t know what the hell was biting me, all of the sudden, I’m seeing them everywhere! Time to exterminate!
A Fire-ants sole purpose is to sting & bite !!! So bite back with flamethrower , gas , smoke bombs , & borax! If you come up with something else , feel free to “release the hounds” on these sorry sap suckers!😂 A dead ant near the home is a wonderful thing! Lol!
