When they swarm no matter how well you seal your home they will find a way inside. That doesn't mean you have an infestation. We have major swarms in SW La, like tonight for instance, but after it's over we check throughout the year & are all clear.
It was HORRIBLE last night. When does the swarming end? Or the season? They’re all over the inside of my apartment. Ended up staying in a hotel 🥲. (Can you tell I’m not from LA 😝).
I have a formosan infestation right now, and just had the soil treated, but unfortunately that takes days or even a week before it starts doing anything... I could see how fumigation might help in this situation
So you’ll kills SOME termites? Not good enough. Why do you ignore real termite baits? You wouldn’t be controlling the termites if a carpenter removes the nest. Sentricon above ground station would work so much better. Nice video though
Fipronil kills some termites Sentricon = Total Colony Elimination. A large Formosan colony under 3 houses can be eliminated... totally from one location. That little spritz of Fipronil will be avoided by the majority of the colony
@@lancedavis6809 You are completely wrong!!!!! Fipronil is undetectable by termites, its 5 amino acids combined. Termites unknowingly track it back to the colony and queen and entire infestation is dead quick. I had an infestation and laid Fipronil down as per the directions and nothing was alive when my contractor opened the walls a week later. We went ahead and replaced my entire kitchen and all the walls were clear of the termites. NOTHING WAS ALIVE!!!! It killed all the ants too. Fipronil lasts 10 years and kills termites even in the ground in the yard 50 ft away. I was amazed at how well this stuff works and its not a poison like the crap you are pushing!!!!!
@@SDCRETX LOL what? Fipronil is the main ingredient for killing termites. By far the best ingredient on the market. Has been proven to be 100% effective for over 16 years with one application, In my county it is required by code to be applied to all the ground under the new slabs prior to being poured!!!!! It is literally labeled a TERMICIDE on the front of Taurus SC label!!!!
@@sotxmatt fipronil is fantastic, but it is toxic to fish and many invertebrates if improperly applied. For prevention, our company utilizes a fipronil barrier in addition to Sentricon termite bait stations. Sentricon utilizes a chitin synthesis inhibitor, a type of insect growth regulator, and is highly effective at eliminating entire termite colonies. You have to be a Certified Sentricon Specialist to obtain and maintain Sentricon termite bait stations though, so they're out of reach of the average consumer unfortunately.
