How to Get RID of MAGGOTS in Your Outside Trash Can! 👀😳 | The Cleaning Series 

Follow Up Info: Put a Little water mix with a Little bleach in it weekly after the trash is taking out. Tie all your trash really good. And make sure the Trash Can is Closed Completely. Use normal everyday salt in the bin bags, when you place a new bag in the bin, just place a small cup of salt in the bag. At the end of each day, sprinkle more salt over the waste. When your bag is full, place a further cup of salt over top of the waste and tie properly before throwing it out into trash can or rubbish bins ( I am from the UK). Every bit of food waste will now be covered in a large amount of salt, nothing will eat it, no maggots, rats, mice, cockroaches, cats, dogs or any kind of wild animals. The best thing is, salt does not break down into something else, so no need to use harmful pesticides or poisons of any kind, it just keep on working, till your bins are emptied. A lot better for the wild life and the environment!

Never even wanted to touch the trash can and figured the trash drumpster would handle it but now that I have to deal with homeowners nightmare stuff I appreciate your assistance and will manage the trash can duties better!! Hope you are doing well in GA!!

right I know my sister is scared of maggets and bleach to lol so we use the silver cooler bags to put food in to keep from changing into maggots in the first place but I clean 19 garbage cans every Monday but sence we use them silver bags they help alot of thi GS with maggots or smells I only thru the brown bag for ashma in ther because my son kept haveing his asthma problems to every time he took trash out for other ppl the bleach in the can cause his breathing to act up l

I do the same thing every trash day and they still come and develop maggots, I hate it and nothing I’ve tried so far works. I think they are gangster flies. Idk am at my wits end here.

YES AFTER YOU CLEAN IT, MIX WATER IN A BOTTLE WITH LAVENDER OIL, TEE TREE OIL, AND IF YOU WANT ANY OF THE OTHER OILS IF YOU WANT. THREE OR FOUR DROPS EACH THEN SPRAY YOUR CAN IT HELPS MY CAN INSIDE

I hate bleach I use the green white can for bathroom's at Dollar tree store it's real good have a bless day I spend my hole day goin BK and fourt to ppl who can't get out or walk elderly ppl I clean cook go to stores for food I DNT charge them cause disabilty is no income foreal so I never charge them to clean ther home's and one ladie is a rescue cat lover a 137 cats in her house that bathroom foam stuff works wonders on everything u clean my landlord used it to clean heaters in all the apartment he said it was amazing lol

I just killed the ones in my bin. Now I keep getting little tickles on my arms keep hitting my arm but there is nothing there

the thing is when you let it set there after rinsing and full it with garbage is gonna be one week till they come and empty it so the maggots grow again so my mom keep some Clorox in with out rinsing it

if u DNT like bleach to clean home's then by the green and white can of foam that cleans everything and smells so good bathroom foam at Dollar tree if u know so me one who has asthma when ur clean give them a brown lunch bag to slowly breath in it's so good for the lungs cause bags are made from trees brown lunch bag

I don't have the issue but my sister does. My sister has a dog and I'm thinking it's the dog 💩 not tied up tightly. I use small bags daily for garbage and put those bags inside the kitchen trash bags. I always saw my grandmother put food garbage in smaller bags then put into kitchen trash bags. I guess I was paying attention.
