That defeat 60+ for increased odds doesn't apply for random encounters and only counts for outbreaks.

Shiny lucario has always been my favorite, I've tried several techniques but it took less than an hour after watching this video and for that you get another follower my friend

That sandwich worked fantastic. I got my shiny riolu within 30 seconds, so I decided to hunt a little long, meditite is left of where you turn right. I hunted a little, found nothing so I decided to hunt something a little more beefy, headed to the Area zero, down to facility 3 and into the hidden cave. And while technically 10 seconds after my sandwich wore off, I'm still giving you partial credit for my shiny Iron Valiant.

north province (area one) watch tower is a good place to hunt riolu/lucario using steel sandwich as well as shiny tinkatuff.

after 6 sandwiches, now restarting for the 7th time, still no shiny. just one shiny pawmi. am i doing something wrong ? correct sandwhich, correct location, battled well over 70 riolu. (i am relatively new to the game)

Wait wait. I thought only in mass outbreaks taking out 60+ will raisw ur chance for shiny. Now you say you can do sandwich and kill em all and u get the higher chance😳😳 did not know that

@@ConCon according to serebii it only work in mass outbreaks. with sandwiches you just gotta move and make them spawn/despawn or picnic method

The 60+ ONLY works during an outbreak. It is not triggered doing the method outlined in the video.

Well. As soon as I made a sandwich not a single one appeared. Like not a single riolu. They were there before the sandwich. After that..not a single one. Sooo that was a big waste of time.

That's why you save before the picnic and then if you don't get a shiny, you close the game and load it from the hard save so you keep the herba mystica. I said this in the video lol

that 60 kills or whatever is a myth. I have hunted over 40 shinies and never once killed 60 pokemon before and was successful each time.

It’s in the game’s code. You don’t have to do it to be successful, but it is an actual thing.

You can try without the sandwich but your odds of finding one will be way harder and may take several hours of searching
