In this video, we dive deep into the ins and outs of how to get sponsored. We get a bunch of applications daily for free stuff from us, and we could use the time to showcase what we would love to see and apply for our own metal sponsorship. Two birds, one stone.
We explain the difference between sponsorship and charity since they are separate. We have seen a few times when a non-profit organization has an audience, they can usually pull off the sponsorship/charity hybrid... Individuals usually don't do it well enough. They should be picking one.
We focus on SMALL channels and creators who are applying for sponsorship. If you are a big company/channel/creator, you have to show your value. You likely already have a sponsorship or marketing packet/brochure. You will want to show your audience, demographics, an example of other organic or clearly paid product placement, etc. This content will cover in a later video if it seems to be in demand!

I was sold on your tools when James G (Reaper) got his and showed it off, and when you came in and helped build the vette chassis, I was like like when I'm ready to buy a new one, this is the one. I mean his brother was just using it the other day to build a cage for the nova. So, I'm about ready to purchase a new tube bender and this is the one for me. The best out there and the bender and the price are great for DIY and shop use.

I preach this every single day in my sponsorship classes as well covered it in great depth in my book. We are in a "now" society, so most won't go through the relationship building stage (what you described is what I call the relationship building stage). I also teach, show your value first by remembering this one phrase: "Its more about what you can do for them, than what they can do for you in the beginning". If you remember that, most companies will come to you because they see your value. The sympathy ask is what I call Social Media Begging. It will get you no where and seen as someone that could never bring a ROI because you look weak and not a serious prospect. I could go on and on about this all day, so I'll stop. People follow this guys advice if you want a sponsorship with any company.

not gonna lie, you had me in the first half.. great video though. i recently started researching this as I'd love to move my hobby further, but budget holds me back a bit quite a bit. always scoffed at the idea of sponsorship, but it seems to be a realistic possibility now days. i hope one day i can turn my hobby into a retirement plan /career. in the mean time until i learn to edit worth a crap and get a better following, i'll keep buying all my tools. including you're awesome bender. :D - still hoping i can win that sweet fab table :P

@@RogueFabrication I use Metal Supermarket. There is one about 40 minutes from my shop in Fort Wayne Indiana. There is a girl there named Kayla that is awesome to work with. I had a project that required 160 LF of 1" 6061 with .250 wall and their price was better than the mill. I'm building a 53 Chevy pickup drag and drive with a 1000+ HP 6-71 NOS Chevy inline 6 292 and can't wait to do the roll cage and chassis if it ever warms up here. Your machine performed awesomely and your notcher is spooky accurate. I have the square dies from 1/2" to 1 1/2" and the round from 1/2" to 2". I hope to someday get the hydraulic setup and I'm think I need your new roller thingy for the chromoly tube. thank you for responding.

Can you use a thin wall attachment on thicker tubing? Even 1.75 .095 deforms slightly on with a 6.0 CLR and standard roller die.
@RogueFabrication
@RogueFabrication Год назад
Yes! That is the 2nd most common application exactly (1.75 x .095 on a 6" bend radius). Makes a huge difference! -Joe
