I've ran sand trucks in West Texas, I'll probably be back out there soon. Some things you said are absolute truth. 1. The roads are rough. Once you get off the main highway the roads will beat the wheels off your vehicle. 2. There's nothing to do. Absolutely nothing! Work and make money with no way to spend it. 3. It's hot. It's so hot your eggs might fry before you get them in the skillet. Don't touch anything outside without wearing gloves!
Single guy with no kids here wondering if this is the best option for me to get into oil and gas. I have a degree but my industry is a no go right now 😢any advice?
Life is short. It depends do you want to travel most of the yr? If that's the case I would say yes. It's an easy job that you can make alot of money doing. We have been doing it off and on since 2019.
